Jacob : Genesis 25-35
Jacob was born at 2025B.C. Yet, I want to talk about an event that happened at 1929B.C. Jacob receives Isaac's blessings instead of Esau and runs away from him, feeling afraid that Esau might take a revenge on him. In 1906B.C. Jacob meets Esau and prepares him a lot of gifts. Gladly, Esau had already forgiven Jacob and gives blessings to him, hoping that his little brother would be blessed by the God. -
Jacob : Key Question
Jacob deceived his God by getting blessing for Esau by tricking his own father, Isaac. Later, Jacob gets tricked by his own sons. In Genesis 37, his sons get jealous by their own brother, Joseph and sell him as a slave in Egypt. After that incident, they told Jacob that there were an accident and Joseph was killed. Obviously, Jacob gets tricked like the same way his father did. -

God told Abraham to sacrifice Isaac in the land of Morriah. After they reached the land of Morriah, Abraham tells Isaac the truth. However, Isaac did not hesitate to sacrifice himself. The God tells them that this was a part of test and they would be greatly blessed with God's blessings. -
Isaac : Key Question
In Genesis 25:21, Isaac prayed to Lord that please let his wife to bear a baby. So finally, Rebekah got pregnant. Surprisingly, she bore a twin by God's power. Isaac's prayer showed me that God would answer to these prayers if these prayers are from his people and is very sincere. I think the God gave Isaac two sons even though he only asked for a child because God loves his people and want to give the best gifts for them. -

The tower of Babel : Key Question
God was so unpleased with the tower of Babel because people dared to see the heaven without his permission. Also, the people were filled with arrogance, believing that they were mightier than God. They also thought they could be greater than God if their tower was taller than heaven. Also, heavens are people who are dead and revived again with god's blessings. So they were not supposed to enter it. -
The Flood : Genesis 6
It happened before 3000B.C. In this chapter, Noah appears. God found out that how wicked his people became so he tells Noah that he is going to punish them by creating a big flood. Noah listens to him and he makes a big ark which later, all the couples of animals enter with Noah and his family. -
The Flood : Key Question
Jesus was hanged on the cross to wash our sins away. In the flood, people who did not follow Noah's words which is a God's words were put to death because of the flood. What is similar here is that there is a savior who sacrifices themselves for our sins. Jesus was put to death and Noah had to make ark which were a safe place for us to stay away from the flood. I think these saviors both deliver the God's words and sacrifice themselves to protect us from the harsh punishment. -
The Fall : Genesis 3
This chapter happened before 4000 B.C. but after the creation. Adam, Eve, a snake, and God appears in this chapter. Adam and Eve eat fruit from the forbidden tree by a temptation which the serpent had created. God became very angry and disappointed so he gave punishment to those and made them leave the Garden of Eden. -
The Fall : Key Question
Adam and Eve fail to keep the promise with God and fall on the temptation. Therefore, they created a great sin by eating an apple from the forbidden tree. God gives them harsh punishments but Adam and Eve need a savior who can clear the sins out of their hands. This shows that Jesus will arrive later on to clear the sins which humans made a long time ago. -
The Creation : Genesis 1
The Creation happened before 4000 B.C. In this chapter, only God appears.
In day 1, God created light and separate it from the darkness.
In day 2, God created sky.
In day 3, God created land and the seas by separating them from each other.
In day 4, God created sun, moon, and stars.
In day 5, God created living things in the seas, lands, and sky.
In day 6, God created one man and one woman to rule over the what he had created.
In day 7, God finally finished making his creation and he rested. -
The Creation : Key Question
It means that we are very alike in physical form. It also shows that humans are more special compared to other things. Since God wanted best for us, he created our look as closely similar to his. This shows that God really cares for us and he gave lots of abilities for us. So in return, we have to believe in God and serve him as our lord. Being a Christian would be the best gift which we could give to our God.
