Odysseus has been fighting in the bloodbath war of Troy. He is now very anxious, as well as his other men that he will finally return home to Ithaca the place in which he had to leave his wife and son to fight for King Agammemenon.The battle has lasted for 10 years. -
The Land of the Lotus Eaters
Lotus EatersOdysseus is finally leaving Troy to go home. As his and eleven other ships sail through the oceans waters they notice the sky fading turning into gray getting ready to rain so the sailors stop their ship at the nearest island they see. they decide to send some men out to get some food but they notice it is beggining to turn into night. As he and other men go to find them he finds his men with lotus eaters so he takes them to the ship and tie them up until they got far away from the island. -
The Sea God's One Eyed Son
As Odysseus is sailing him and his men grow hungry for they dont have a bite of food left so he decides to let them fill up on wine but to his horror they all get drunk and go straight to sleep on eachothers shoulders. The next day the lookout says that he has sighted land as soon as the crew heard this they were ready to eat as for Odysseus he tells his crew to wait and he'll go to trade some wine. As Odysseus made his way he realized it was a cyclops who tried to kill them but they got away. -
The Brass Island and the Bag of Winds
When Odysseus and his men sail they catch sight of a city and get invited to go inside but only Odysseus goes inside. He has dinner with the king of that island gives food to his crew of course then the king gives Odysseus a bag of winds that belong to Poseidon and he puts it on his ship. But his men become curious and open it and they end up going farther from home and then Odysseus has to find another way back to Ithaca. -

The pig- woman
The next day a sailor said land so they anchored down and got ready to look for a village but oddyseus spotted a stag so he went after it and killed it and ran to catch up but flowers on the ground made him walk and he walked towards the back of the house and the lady made his men pigs so he made her turn them back 2 years later he left. -
Hades
The short time Odysseus was supposed to be at Circe turned to a year.He finally realized he had a family to get to so he decided to leave. Odysseus first went to circe to get the information he needed from her to find his home.She then told him he had to go to the underworld and he did so and talked to Oracle of Hades and asked if he would ever get home and the oracle said everything he needed to get home to his wife and son. -
Apollos island
Oddysseus said to the men if the wind keeps up they should be home in a week and that they will not stop at Apollos island. But the men didnt care and went ahead with going to the island.Oddysseus explained to them that the cows were cursed and they understood. Weeks passed and it was cold and raining and the food was gone so when Odysseus went to pray when he woke up his men were eating the cows but when the dead cow mooed they ran to the ship.But Poisiedon was waiting for them.
