This was invented by Benjamin Franklin in 1740 in Philedelphia. He invented this during an experiment so, it wasn't on purpose but it was right. We use this for almost everything- light, wifi, appliances, cars and more- that is why this invention is so important. This was originally used to create energy and light which allowed our days to be longer. -
Automobiles
The car gave people easy transportation and mobility. The first automobile was created by a French engineer, Nicolas Joesph Cugnot, in 1769. This invention was very difficult to create and took over 10,000 patents. The car is very important because it started an industrial age and started the growth of motorized transportation. -
The Internet
The internet was created in the 20th century, in 1978 by Tim Berners-Lee, from United Kingdom. This invention took lots and lots of research but the outcome was incredibly helpful. This has always been used the same way, for people to research things, social network, share information, etc. Now it is very important because it keeps people in touch and it gives us information and lets us share information.
