Davy Joining War
When the war of 1812 came along Crockett signed up to be a scout. The only reason he joined was to get back at the cree Indians. His militia massacred all of them. There were no survivors. -
Marriage
After marrying Polly Finley, Davy decided to. introduce the family to her and help his dad pay back his debts. While he was there he met a man named John Kennedy. -
Gaining Ranks
When he was done being a scout. Crockett became a 3rd Sargent under John Cowman. Davy nearly died from malaria, but luckily survived. Crockett was later discharged from the army in 1815. -
U.S. Congress
Crockett became a member of the Tennessee representatives in 1821. This was the turning part in his career. He ran for 19th Tennessee but lost in 1825. Crockett managed to get a seat in 21st U.S. congress. -

Crockett became a skilled woodsman and guided many people through the woods. He also became a skilled sharpshooter. This helped him get a lot of votes. -

Crockett later decided he did not want to be in politics and work on his outdoors man skills. He became a frontiersman and then folk hero in 1835. He and a couple others set south to Texas. -

Battle of Alamo
When Crockett Arrived in Texas he met up with his good friends Jim Bowie and Sam Houston. The 3 of them controlled Texas and fought Santa Anna. They fought very bravely. -
Death
Crockett fought the whole entire battle. He was the leader of defending the south wall which held up the best. Crockett was one of the 200 men executed. He died this day.
