    Published Content and Conciousness
Originally his doctoral thesis, Dennett decides to publish his first book. He states that, consciousness arises from interaction of physical and cognitive processes in the brain. This is huge, in simpler terms Dennett says that our consciousness is from our interaction with the physical world as well as the mix of gaining knowledge. For example thinking, knowing, remembering etc...

    Too many things to count

Dennett is an amazing philosopher who has in fact studied many areas of the human brain, changing how we think...Literally. He has dabbled in consciousness, artificial intelligence, Neuroscience, Religion, and a few more. He has also published many books, as to which I highlighted a few. He has challenged Darwin, and almost every other thought of how we were created/ how we perceive this world as a whole.

    Publishes Darwins Dangerous Idea
Dennett by now has been a teacher and working in many other fields involving the brain/ consciousness. This book however turns the tides, what has been thought of as a great idea for such a long time may be wrong. He states that "examined how the mindless process of natural selection accounts for the evolution of the brain and human consciousness." (Daniel C Dennett, Britannica) He is questioning the very way we came about now. Something for for years prior to his existence has been believed.
  • Dennett speeaks about religion.

    Dennett speeaks about religion.
Showing off his atheist views, Dennett states how religion may need to be studied by science to find any actual proof it exists at all. He publishes a book called Breaking the Spell: Religion as a Natural Phenomenon. "I began to be worried about what was happening with religion in the world, it seemed to be mounting an importance of many spheres playing a very disruptive and worrying role."
