Socrates
Socrates was and still is known as a very popular man in ancient Greece, considering he had never wrote anything, but his student Plato did. Socrates was considered as annoying, with false words. The Greeks were so sick and tired of him, that he was executed by being given poison in his arm in 399 BC. He was executed for making people re-think their logic. He never claimed to be smart, he claimed to never have taught anyone anything, and claimed to not have wisdom.
