Tom is beginning to cry because he found out that Mr. Shelby had sold him because he was in debt. As Tom keeps crying he can only accept what had happen to him but he thinks it's better if he only gets sold than evevryone.

When Tom is getting sold he meets this young girl around five years old on a boat. When he tells the young girl that she tells him her father will buy her. Not long after that the young girl falls into the boat, but Tom manages to save the little girl.

Tom misses his home and decides to write a letter to his family. St Clare helps Tom write his letter. -
Have Faith
Tom and Eva starts to grow closer. When they do they both share passions of faith. They both enjoy singing and reading the bible together. -
Sickness of Eva
Eva is starting to get really sick. While she is sick Tom spends time with her. He also doen't mind taking care of her. -
Freedom did not come
Before St. Clare had died she had wrote Tom freedom papers. When she did Maria refuses to let Tom go; so she takes him to auction, and Augustine tried to stop and get a lawer but it was too expensive.

When Tom gets to the slave warehouse he hears that the people work the slaves to death. Also Tom can't be religous or anything, and he must not rebels.

Legree is mad because he can't find Cassey and Emmeline so he goes to Tom and decides to beat him for them leaving and almost beat him to death.

Uncle Tom comes to a End
Mr. Shelby finds out Tom is dying and Tom is ready to go to heaven. When Tom does die he takes Tom from Legree and gave him a funeral.
