john deere saw that standered wood plows were hurting agreculture

that same year john made something that changed farming forever...
the soil of the mid west was so rich that normal plows could'nt handle it so john made one from an old blade saw he tested it until he thought it was perfect then patened his idea and went off to start his company -
deere and company
after the first plows were sold word got around about johns new invention and so did word about his earnings he simply couldent keep up with requests so he started deere and co. and by the end of 1841 they were making 1000 plows a year. -
the plow that broke the plains
in 1855 john moved his company to illinois increasing production and profits from 1000 to 10,000 plows per year. -

john was getting old and he knew that but to keep the buisness alive he gave all responsibelity to his son charlie -
the daeth of a legend
after years of commitment and hard work john died at his home surronded by loved ones but his legend still lives on his company is still one of the finest still holding onto john's memory and ideals
