Rainsford and Whitney are sailing to Rio to hunt themselfs some jaguars , when Rainsford falls overboard from the yacht while trying to save his pipe. -
Zaroff (Rising Action)
Rainsford swims in the direction of “Ship Trap Island”, where he meets General Zaroff, a sinister hunter who has strange ideas of a good time. -
Men Hunter (Climax)
Rainsford dines with General Zaroff, and finds out that Zaroff hunts men and he is about to be the prey. -
The Hunt (Falling Action)
With quick thinking, instinct, and the experience he gained during his time in WWI he manages to ellude Zaroff in the Hunting Days. -
Sleeping Well (Denoument)
Rainsford returns to the castle and surprises Zaroff, for Zaroff thought he was dead. Rainsford says a quick goodbye in the form of murder and decided he never slept in a better bed.
