Tisza supported a strong stand against Serbia. He was afraid of Romania, because they had enough soldiers to revolt againts Hungary, so he send 40,000 soldiers to protect Transylvania. -

Towards the end of the war, Tisza had wanted to convince the Serbs and Bosnians to achieve autonomy within Austria-Hungary. -
Death
soldiers broke into his home, the Róheim Villa in Budapest and killed him in front of his wife and his grandniece.
