Bruno and his family move to a different country. -

Camp Near New Home
Behind Bruno’s new home is a concentration camp. His father forbids him to go near. He doesn’t know what it is, doesn’t know what it’s called and has no idea what is happening to the people there. -

Sees Boy
Bruno decides to follow the fence and sees another boy. That boy is Shmuel. He is wearing pajamas and has a shaved head. -

Friends
The boys talk and figure-out they share the same birthday on April 15th. They’d like to play together but the fence is separating them. -

Learns of Move
Bruno learns that Shmuel came to the camp after he and his family were made to board a cramped train. -

Joins The Other Side
One day Bruno decides to help Shmuel find his father and slips under the fence. He swaps his own clothes for a pair of dirty striped pajamas to look like Shmuel. -

Dies
At some point, Bruno and Shmuel cannot get away from a crowd of people. The people wearing striped pajamas were all forced inside a room with no windows. (A Gas chamber) -

Family Learns of Death
Bruno’s father finds his son’s clothes and sees the opening under the fence. He realizes what must have happened to his son. -

Ending
Allies come to close camp Auschwitz.
