-De Vaca was the first to explore Texas and to write about the Native Americans that lived in Texas.
-Heard of 7 citys of gold wich influenced others to explore the New World. -

-Reported on seeing the 7 city's of gold and that it was bigger than Mexico City.This is important because it influenced many other conquistadors to take part in the next expedition. -

-De Soto was the leader before he died with a fever and Moscoso took over.
-Moscoso reported the new world was not a good place and the people there were evil.This backed up Coronado's statement influencing Spain to not go to the New World for another 150 years.
