He was to find a water route to the pacific ocean and he maped the gulf coast from florida to texas he possibly dicovered the rio grande his map of the coast led to others explring land on the gulf coast.

Cortes voyage

Aug 13, 1519

In mexico he found the aztecs and conqued them in August 13, 1521 and got 6 million dollars in gold and he discovered the caribbean islands,the Bahamas, and also mexico

Devaca Voyage part 1

There goal was to find gold in floida with leader narvez and going around the gulf untill the ship got the wrong place and they thought they died and lefted so to survive. They ate there horses and started to make crude boats to sail to cuba. Then a storm hit and only 2 of 5 boats surivive and there leader narvez was losted to them.

DeVaca discovers Texas

After seven years shipwrecked on gavleston the kanwankawas nursed them back to health then the indains were admazed that they saw the first "surgey" in texas and became medicine man now 1537 they werefound and taken back to cuba and were they seached the city of gold and esteban a afican slave from morocco tthat was with da vaca all the way returned but da vaca didn't.

Fray marcos and Esteban

At first Esteban was a guide for the priest named fray marcos and Esteban was the first black man in texas he would guide the way by placing white crosses as signs to fray marcos Esteban was later killed for tell the zunis "who didn't know he was famous to the indians in america not mexico"to give there women and food to him and he died. After that fray marcos said he saw a grand city of gold "but made from from fools gold "tell them and coranaldo was his job to find it.

Coronado's Expedition

Period: Jan 1, 1540 to Jan 1, 1542

Coronado was the a true conquistador he was in search for 7 cites of gold and just gold in genral but he was very cruel to the indians he burned them alive after a indian hit him in the head with a rock. So he burned 200 indians alive and then later a indian called "The Turk" told them of of cibola the 7 cities of gold so Coronado continued but it was a normal indian village so he came back and said it was a lie but then he said the story of qevia everything its plated with gold and women

Coronado's End

After that he return and made the turk dig a hole and kill kill him and returning to the ship he was in a race then he fell off and it kicked him in the head and injuged him now scare of horses they walked home latly after the report no gold harsh lan mean indians he died later from the kick. Moscoso Expedition

Just like coronado he didn't like texas he torcured indians like cuts hand and feet ond ripping legs off with wieght and burning them alive.His leader De soto who wears gold armour died and the indians thought he was a god there main goal was to find gold they discovered the missisippi river and he give the same report no gold harsh land mean indians
