They got left in Florida and made "boats" and got caught in a gale when they crash landed in Galveston. He was walking on and off for 8 years before he was picked up in Mexico. -

Moscoso's Expedition
Moscoso left spain with his leader De Soto on their way to find Cibola. On the way the found the Mississippi River where De Soto died and Moscoso took over. When they got back they reported the same as Coronado and said not to go to Texas. -

The purpose of Their journey was to find Cibola, the 7 cities of gold, they got there and when Fray Marcos returned he said he saw Cibola when he didn't. -

Coronado's Expedition
He went looking for gold and Cibola when he burned 125 Zunies alive. The Turk was then sent to escort them away so he made up the legend of Quivera. The Turk lied so Coronado strangled him and when Coronado got back he said not to go to Texas.
