HE DIDN'T KNOW WHERE IT WAS
He did not know what was happening nor where he was, when he woke up he did it in a dark, wet and stone room after being there for a while he remembered that he was in Toledo and remembered how men asked him questions about a crime, so he thought are in a prison. -
METAL PRISON
The cell opened, he saw that there was a well in the center, he did not know what it was for, suddenly the torturers gave him very salty bread and water to drink. After drinking water, he fell asleep and got up in a metal prison. On the walls were drawings of spirits, he tried to get up but he was tied, when he looked up at the ceiling he realized that he had a scythe that moved like a pendulum falling on him. -
THE RATS SAVED ME
He hear a noise, they were huge rats, when they saw he they climbed into his arms he didn't know what to do except scream. The blade was getting closer, he was going to cut it in half, suddenly it occurred to him to rub the meat by the ropes so that the rats untied him. Hundreds of rats climbed on his body and broke the ropes that tied him , but suddenly the pendulum scared them and had to wait for the pendulum to cut its strings and that's how I escape from the strings. -
THE GOLD BUG

WILLIAM LEGRAND AND JUPITER
William Legrand a familyless man who had a lot of money and lost everything, he lived on the Isle of Sullivan with his servant Jupiter. They lived in a wooden house, William liked living there because he didn't like people very much and he liked to live in peace. One day William found a bug that looked like gold, he told Lieutenant Gray that he had found it and drew it on parchment and showed it to him to see. -
THE BEETLE
Lieutenant Gray is interested in all kinds of insects, when William finished drawing it they saw that it was a beetle, it had a round and yellow body, in the back it had three strange marks, like three black dots that simulate a skull. -
ILLNESS OF MR. LEGRAND
Legrand was very excited because he thought the beetle had powers, and those powers would take them somewhere where there was a valuable treasure. When they started walking, Legrand did not say where they were going, they crossed a stream, they walked a long way until after many hours, Legrand took them to a tree and told Jupiter to come up with the insect and tell him what he saw. -

HYPNOSIS TO MR. VALDEMAR
Mr. Valdemar had a terminal illness in the lungs so he decided to call a hypnotist to put him to sleep before he died because his death was going to be very painful and he did not want that. -
WAS DEAD MR. VALDEMAR?
When he hypnotized Mr. Valdemar so that he would not suffer while dying, the doctor realized that something strange was happening because he appeared to be dead, but not because he spoke to the doctor and said "I have been sleeping, but now I am dead" while her heart was not beating. -
DISAPPEARANCE OF THE BODY OF MR. VALDEMAR
After 7 months, the doctor woke him up from hypnosis because his body was not breaking down. When he woke up, Mr. Valdemar expelled fluids all over his body and disappeared, leaving a puddle and some bones. -
THE FALL OF THE HOUSE OF USHER

CHILDHOOD FRIEND
A man was riding a horse, heading to the Usher house. That house belonged to his old childhood friend, Roderick. His friend had written him a letter saying "I'm going crazy." When he arrived, he observed how the house was, a black building which was surrounded by a lake, he went over the bridge with the horse, knocked on the door and the servant went out and accompanied him to Roderick's room. The hallways were gloomy. -
MADELINE WAS DEAD
Roderick took care of his friend for several days, they paint pictures, they drank, Roderick played the guitar, but in those days they did not see Madeline. The days went by and Roderick was sadder and sadder. one day his friend was in the room and Roderick came in saying "Madeline was dead". He asked his friend for help and asked if he could help him bring his sister's body to a room under the house. in the center of the room was a wooden coffin. -
MADELINE AND RODERICK
Madeline was dressed in a white dress, she was not breathing or her heart was beating, but her body was not cold. One night Roderick entered his friend's room saying that he was listening to Madeline, saying that Madeline had come out of the coffin and was going up. Madeline opened the door and was covered in blood. Madeline stretches her arms forward and her brother approaches her. -
DOWN INTO THE MAELSTROM

MAELSTROM DANGERS
A man was on his way to Norway to visit the Maelstrom, because he read a book about it and wanted to see it. When he arrived he looked for a guide to take him there and be able to see that great whirlpool. But the Maelstrom is very dangerous for boats and ships, because when a boat or a ships approaches, the water pulls them towards the sea, and it is very dangerous, because many people have died there. -
WHIRLPOOL
When they arrived in Norway they were prepare to go to the Maelstrom, when they arrived a cliff that was very high, they looked at the sea they were scared, because everything got very dark and the sea moved in very fast circles, creating the Maelstrom. He thought about backing down because he was scared to see how dark and how dangerous it was. -
FALL ON THE MAELSTROM
When they finally approached to see the Maelstrom, the boat began to turn, it had gotten into the whirlwind, they did not know what to do. When they were in the boat, the guide who had passed this to him before but managed to survive, shouted at him: how old do you think I am? he told him that he was 60 years old, but not, he was 40 years old, but a curse from the Maelstrom made him older. -
THE MASQUE OF THE RED DEATH

RED DEATH
The red death came to the country, it was very dangerous because there was no cure and it killed many people. Prince Prospero, the ruler of the country, he was trying to escape the disease, hiding in a castle with more people, when all arrived at the castle , they closed it all to be safe. In the castle there were many provisions so that they were safe and did not have to go out and do not get sick. -
PARTY
Prince Prosper set up a party where everyone was going to wear a mask so that their faces were hidden. There were seven rooms, each room was a different color, and each had a window of different colors as well. The seventh room was black but the window of this room was red, and the light in the room also, in it there was a clock that rang every hour, every time it rang everyone would shut up, but when it finished ringing they would dance again. -
THE RED NIGHT
When night came, fires were lit outside and light came in through the window. As everyone watched they saw a stranger, who they did not see all night, dressed in a long suit and a terrible mask, and they had the face of a dead man. Then the prince ordered that he be killed. Several men approached the stranger, but he looked at them and stopped approaching. The Prince chased him through all the rooms but he dont managed to catch him. -

OLD FRIEND FROM UNIVERSITY
All starts with a sea voyage that takes place from Charleston to New York aboard a ship, where two old college buddies meet. Cornelius, a companion, is on board with his wife and two sisters, but he has only reserved 3 cabins, when they were getting ready they realized that Mr. Wyatt's luggage was a pine wood box. -
WYATT'S WIFE
The wooden box did not take her to the third cabin, but yes to that of his friend, that seemed very strange to her because she did not understand what she kept in that box, but she did know what was something mysterious. As he listened to find out what was in the box, he listened as Wyatt spoke ill of his wife, that made him think that he was not with her for love, so he stopped focusing on the box and tried to help his friend. -
