    Prometheus creates humans
    Prometheus creates humans out of clay after being given the task of creating animals. He molds them in the image of the gods, giving them the ability to stand on two legs. Zeus is wary of them becoming more powerful than gods, but sees their struggle without fire and is comforted.

    Prometheus tricks Zeus for humans
    Prometheus wanted the humans to have the better half of cows, so he tricked Zeus. He had a bull's bones with all the bad parts and covered it in fat to look appetizing, then took the stomach of the bull and stuffed it with the good meats, so it was an unappealing layer of bad stuff with good inside. He then offered Zeus a choice on which one he would want. Zeus of course chose the one covered in fat, and humans got to keep the good parts of the cow to eat

    Prometheus sees humans struggling without fire to survive and thrive. He also knew it would be a wonderful gift for them. Prometheus grabbed fire from Mount Olympus and hid it in a fennel-stalk, where he brought it to humans.

    Prometheus gets punished by Zeus
    After stealing fire and giving it to humans, Zeus is angered by his actions. He chained him down on a mountain, where he had an eagle eat his immortal liver every day. By the time it would regenerate the next day, the eagle would return and eat it again.

    Prometheus is freed by Heracles
    After a very long time, Heracles stumbled upon Prometheus during one of his labors. It was said that Prometheus held a secret, and in exchange for it, Zeus allowed him his freedom. He told Zeus that if he fathered a child with the nymph Thetis, his child would overthrow him.
