Helios Cattle
Summary: Helios Cattle are just 7 flocks of lambs . But the flocks have 50 of the deadly beats in them. O is told not to try and harm the Cattle for it will upset Helios
Analysis: O men insists on stopping to feast on the Cattle. The Cattle are eaten and Helios is very upset and wants something in return for what they have done. The god Zeus sends a lightning bolt to O ship leaving him as the only on alive with no men and no ship. -

Trojan War
Summary : The Trojan is a war that was fought over a women. The women was kidnapped by a man who loved her and she was taken from her real lover. They fought in the war just to get her back. The side trying to get the women back decided to build a giant horse and send it to the opposition as a peace offering. The horse was really filled with men and at the end of the night when it was dark the jumped put and ambushed the opposition. -

Lotus Eaters
Summary: Lotus eater is basically a flower that will make stay in the place your in. O and his men cant eat it because they wont want to return to Ithaca.
Analysis: O and his men can not eat the flower no matter how good it looks. They will lose there interest to return home to Ithaca. O would never be able to return back to his family. Also he wouldn't want to return to his heir to the throne of Ithaca -

Cyclops
Summary: The Cyclops are uncivilized one eyed monsters. They are barbaric creatures who have no style of life. The have no rules or way of life and O doesn't like them for this reason. O encounters one and he stab it in the eye so it cant see but he cant kill it because its the only one who can move the boulder. O says that he is the one who slayed the Cyclops because he always feels like he has to have power and he think that it makes him more honorable. -

Cyclops #2
Analysis: I think that O shouldn't have bragged about killing the Cyclops. I think that O is trying to prove his honor because he knows that when he gets home he might no get the same honor. I think he is trying to make honor for himself to have so that when he faces that he doesn't have it anymore he can remember these moments -

Aeolus- Bag of Wind
Summary: The bag of wind was given to O so that they could steer the ship if they need to. They cant open the bag or they will let the wind out. O crew thinks he is hiding something valuable in the bag and the start to lose trust
Analysis: I think that if the crew believed in O they would trust him that the bag has wind in it. They think he is trying to keep something from them. I don't O is that type of leader. I think if he had something valuable the first thing he would is show his crew. -
Period: 1200 BCE to 1200 BCE
Circe
Summary: Circe put a spell on O men. She told O she would let me go if he lay in the bed with her . She also warned O of the monsters he would have to face to get back to Ithaca. She says he will lose men either way so he has to choose to lose 6 or all.
Analysis: I think O was strong for going to face Circe because she could have turned him into a pig. Also O should chose to lose all men because they should choose to all go down together. If he is trying to be honorable dying together is. -
Period: 1200 BCE to 1200 BCE
Sirens #2
Analysis: I think that it would have been best for O to just stuff his ears with wax as well. I think that if his crew was loyal they shouldn't have to see O be strong they could just believe in him. I also think that it was bad because what if O couldn't resist the sound and he was lured to the sirens then the crew would have no leader and O would never reach his goal of coming home. He put his whole mission of getting home at risk by doing this -

Scylla and Carybdis
Summary: Circe tells O that's to get back to Ithaca he has to pass threw one of these deadly monsters. She says that Scylla will kill 6 of his men one for each of her heads. Charybdis will suck there whole ship into a pit and he will lose all his men. O decides to go threw Scylla and only lose 6 men. He loses 6 of his best. But the do get caught into Charybdis's tide but O manages to escape but he has lost all of his men and he now has no ship but he has made it back to Ithaca. -
Period: 1200 BCE to 1200 BCE
Scylla and Carybdis #2
Analysis: I think that O should have went threw Charybdis because he should have gone done with all his crew and ship. I think he should have chosen to die with honor rather the risk some of his men life to get home. I think his decision was selfish and at the end he still lost his men anyway so if these course were unbeatable then why did he not just chose to die in and honorable way than to be selfish. -
Period: 1200 BCE to 1200 BCE
Suitors and Home
Summary: O returns home to a competition for Penelope hand in marriage. Which also includes becoming the king of Ithaca. O only tells his son and two of his loyal servant that he is back before he dresses himself as an old begger. O plan is to kill all of the suitors that have tried to take his place to show his honor -
Period: 1200 BCE to 1200 BCE
Suitors and Home#2
Analysis:O was doing the righttthing by killing all the suitors because if he leftthem alive they might try to kill him. They would try and kill him because the want the throne so badly. Also Penelope was right to challenge O to see if it was really him because it could have been a trick to let her gaird down. I think this is another reason why O loves her because she is a quick thinker like him and she is always aware of her surroundings -

Analysis: I think the Trojan war was a war that was uncaused for because a lot of people were slaughtered over a women. I think that the women should have never been kidnapped. If they had problems they should have solved them a different way. They could have prevented all this violence that they were faced with. -
Period: Nov 20, 1200 to Nov 20, 1200
Sirens
Summary: The men have to stuff there ears with wax because the if they here the sound of they will be attracted to it and the monster will kill them. O however does not fill his ears with wax to prove his greatness and that he also because he is curious to hear the sound. So his men tie him to the ship so that when he hears the sound he leave the ship and follow the sound.
