    On March 1,2014 It was a bleak January day and freezing. The frost was sixty-degrees below zero, and be had thirty miles of lonely trail to cover, but Vincent was determined.
  • Exposition: Characterization

    On March 2, 2014, Vincent was very big and strong and had huge muscles. He had faith in himself and thought he was better than anything that may face him. He was a master of things and did not hide.
  • Rising Action

    On March 3, 2014, Vincent is rapidly developing frost bite. His body is already warning him that he needs to find warmth.
  • Rising Action

    On March 4, 2014, Vincent finds a creek and realizes that it could be a huge danger to him.
  • Climax

    On March 5, 2014 Vincent falls through the creek and instantly feels his frost bite getting worse. He knows he must make a fire in order to survive.
  • Falling Action

    On March 6, 2014 Vincent is still unsuccessful in building a fire. He once felt as if he was stronger than the entire world and all its elements, now those elements are killing him.
  • Falling Action

    On March 7, 2014 Vincent, so desperately wanting to strike a match, finally gets close to it. He gets the match between his fingers after trying for so long but when he went to strike it he dropped it and could not pick it up again.
  • Resolution

    On March 8, 2014 Vincent was aware that once he got the fire started he would live. When he got the fire started, he became filled with warmth and was able to be back on his feet within a month.
