    Creation of the Universe

    God creates the universe in 6 days and rests the 7th day.
  • Cain and Abel
    3000 BCE

    Cain and Abel

    Abel was a keeper of the sheep and Cain was a tiller of the soil God favored Abels's sacrifice but disregarded Cain's sacrifice. Cain killed Abel and God banished him to be a nomad and put a mark on him so no one can kill him.
  • The Offering of Issac
    2054 BCE

    The Offering of Issac

    God tested Abraham by making him sacrifice his son Issac. Just as he was about to do it God stopped him and provided the sacrifice for Abraham. Then God blessed Abraham and multiplied his descendants.
  • Jacob and Esau
    1925 BCE

    Jacob and Esau

    Issac favored Esau over Jacob and Issac was going to give Esau his blessing but Jacob took it from Esau.
  • Joseph sold into slavery.

    Joseph sold into slavery.

    Jacob loved Joseph the most out of his siblings and got a colorful coat. His siblings did not like that so they sold him into slavery and lied to their father.
  • Joseph interprets Pharaoh's dreams

    Joseph interprets Pharaoh's dreams

    Joseph was in prison and Pharaoh let him interpret his dream. Joseph told Pharaoh that his dream meant that 7 years of great abundance would come but 7 years of famine would follow. Then Pharaoh put Joseph in charge of the house.

    God told Moses what the 10 COmmandments were and we still use them today.
  • Moses Parts the Red Sea

    Moses Parts the Red Sea

    Moses guided the Israelites out of Egypt on their way to the Promised Land. Pharaoh and his army pursued them. When the Israelites reached the Red Sea Moses stretched out his hand and the waters divided, allowing his follower's safe passage.
  • David and Goliath
    1100 BCE

    David and Goliath

    He quickly threw a stone with his sling. The stone hit Goliath in the forehead, and the giant man fell to the ground. The Lord helped David defeat Goliath without a sword or armor.
  • Daniel and the Lions Den
    600 BCE

    Daniel and the Lions Den

    The wise men knew Daniel prayed to God, so they tricked the king into making a new law. Anyone who prayed to God would be thrown into a lion’s den. Daniel was thrown into the lions’ den. The king stayed awake all night, fasting so that Daniel would be protected.Early the next morning, the king rushed to the lions’ den. He called to Daniel to see if he was still alive. Daniel called back! He told the king that God sent an angel to shut the lions’ mouths. The lions did not hurt him.
