After a discussion with his father for his career prospects and an embarrasing situation with her sister, Sampath reaches the post officefor another day of work. Of course, he achieves none of his duties but reads lots and lots of letters and postcards that arrived to the post ofice. -

During his duty, Sampath finds the women's saris and tries them on. The he goes to the fountain and starts to undress in front of the whole audience. He gets fired from his job. -
Sampath climbs the guava tree
Sampath's family leave for a weddig, so he takes the first bus he saw and got down in a guava orchard. There he climbed a tree, to find that he was completely happy for the first time in his life, that he had finally found his place -
The Chawla family tries to marry him
Desperate by this situation, Mr. Chawla consults a holy priest, who tells him that he has to marry him. So, he finds him a woman (too dark for Ammaji and Kulfi's taste), but he refuses to marry her or anyone. -
