Francis Bacon creates a theory
Francis Bacon was an english philosopher, one of many perfesions. He was born in 1561 and died in 1626. He was knighted by King James First, he has been titled as the Father of empirism. His work and theories are still being discussed today by scientists. He also had an indirect contribution to plate tectonics by noticing how the costs of different countries looked like they could fit together like jigsar pieces. -
Wagener introduces continental drift
Wagener created the theory that there was once a huge continent, he named this huge island Pangaea. His theory was accompanied by three pieces of evidence. He had discovered fossils in different continents completely. -
