    Considered the most important pre-twentieth century influenc on management. Creation of factories and corporations that needed someone to take care of tasks such as supplies, workers responsibilities, etc. Person became known as the manager.

    Mary Parker Follet
    Follet proposed that the person that should be in control was the one with more knowledge. According to her the person with the most knowledge should be in command of the process and the managers only serve as coaches. Considered the Mother of Management.
