Harry Potter's aunt got on Harry's nerves. Therefore, he used magic to make her bloated like a balloon, and sent her flying off to the sky. -

After the previous event, Harry decided to leave home. While outside, not knowing where to go, he met the sight of a black puma-like creature that vanished as a magical bus stopped and picked him up. -

Although Harry used magic outside of Hogwarts, a person from Ministry of Magic did told him not to worry about it. After that, Ron's father explains how Sirius Black seems to be after Harry Potter after escaping the prison of Azkaban. -

As Harry, Hermione and Ron was on their way to Hogwarts, the train stopped abruptly. The train stood still; the windows froze and lights turned black. A dementor appeared and started draining the soul out of Harry. However, professor Lupin appeared out of the blanket in the corner and casted a spell that made the creature vanish. -

Harry, Hermione and Ron got to their first divination class, where professor Trelawney saw a grim in Harry's cup. She told them the grim implies death to the one who gets it, which scared Harry. -

Hagrid got the responsibility to teach the class Care of Magical Creatures. There he introduced his class to Buckbeak, a hippogriff, that they would have to work with. First Harry did as he was instructed and all went well. Thereafter, Malfoy stepped up and disrespected the hippogriff, resulting in it attacking him so he had to be brought to a hospital. -

The fat lady in the picture that opens the door to the students bedrooms has escaped her picture. Dumbledore found her in another picture where she explained that Serious Black made her escape her picture. The schools exits were immediately closed. -

The Gryffindor team played Quidditch against Hufflepuff. Harry tried to catch the Golden Snitch, but as he reached out his hand to grab it, numerous dementors revealed themselves. As Harry flew upwards towards the Golden Snitch, the dementors caught up to him and drained his energy, leaving him unconscious crashing down. -

Ron's brother gave Harry a map called the Marauder's Map, where he could see every footstep in Hogwards, followed by their names. Harry studied the map that night and spotted a man named Peter Pettigrew on the map. Harry had heard that this man had been killed by Sirius Black, and therefore chose to find this person. He did not find him and was caught by Snape. -

After a Divination class Harry forgot his book and had to go back to get it. When he met professor Trewalney, she spoke to him in a deep, distorted voice, telling him that "he will return tonight". After this she returned to normal, not realizing she ever said anything. -

Later that day, Buckbeak was executed while Harry, Hermione and Ron was secretly watching. Thereafter, Scabbers escaped Ron's pocket, and leaves into the forest. There they met the same puma-like, black creature Harry earlier met, and Ron was dragged into a secret space under a tree. Hermione and Harry folloewd -

The black creature turned out to be Sirius Black, who was an animagus. Black wanted to kill Pettigrew, but Harry, Hermione and Ron did not understand that and thought he wanted to kill Harry. Harry leapt at Black and tried to stop him. Lupin then entered the room and separated the two. Lupin then proceeded to explain how the situation really was, when Snape entered the room and tried to stop Lupin and Black. Harry then picked up his wand and shouted a spell that made Snape unconscious. -

When Lupin, Black, Harry, Hermione, Ron and unconscious Snape left the secret area they had been inside, they realized that it was full moon that night. Therefore, Lupin transformed into a werewolf and started attacking the people around him. -

Further, when Harry had successfully escaped the range of Lupin, dementors appeared. His spell did not work, but he saw a shadow resembling a person who formed a centaur of the same spell Harry used. He then fell unconscious. -

After Harry and Hermione woke up, Dumbledore entered the room where they laid. He gave Hermione a cryptic message, which she fully understood. Thereafter she took her necklace and turned it three times and they went back in time. They sneaked out of the castle and kidnapped Buckbeak so he would not be executed. -

When Harry and Hermione hid Buckbeak in the woods, they had to wait as the situation where Lupin transformed played out. However, Hermione intervened by howling at Lupin to attract his attention. They ran off and after a while lost Lupin. Harry the realized that he was the shadow he had previously seen, as he saved himself by casting the spell forming a centaur. -
17.
Harry and Hermione then flew on Buckbeak to the top of the castle and released Black from his cell. Black then flew off and later sent a letter to Harry, explaining that he was greatful.
