Husserl moved to Vienna to study with Franz Brentano who claimed the he had grounded philosophy and found a new descriptive psychology the had a more wide spread influence. Brentnano and his students gave Husserl a form of enlightenment and Husserl went on to join there faith (Evangelical Lutheran) that gave him a sense of moral meaning of responsibility in the sense of ethical autonomy.
  • Marriage

    Marriage
Married Malvine Steinschneider, the daughter of a secondary-school professor from Prossnitz
  • Teaching

Hussler later became a lecturer at the University of Göttingen after publishing Logische Untersuchungen (Logical Investigations) in 1900 which employed a method of analysis that Husserl now designated as “phenomenological.”. Hussler taught and lectured at the university until 1916.
  • His Idea

During his time teaching Husserl drafted up an outline of Phenomenology as a universal philosophical science, called the Phenomenology Reduction. His idea focused on a philosophers attention on an uninterrupted basic experience and the quest. This was also a reflection of which essences became conscious which then took the character of Transcendental philosophy with a new style. His idea was presented in the General Introduction to Pure Phenomenology.
  • Presenting

Only the first part of his presentation was presented. The second part was halted by WWI. Still wanting to finish Husserl wanted to give his student a manual to finish his thoughts and ideas. His student and colleagues, however, rejected this and thought the twist on Transcendental Philosophy was a lapse back into old systems of thought. The war and rejection made the program fall apart.
  • Renewal

Hussler got a position of ordentlicher Professor (university professor) at the University of Freiburg which was a new beginning for him. He, being no longer satisfied by his previous groundings, started a new reflection the focused and directed on Philosophy's new task in the renewal of life.
  • New Style

Husserl had another shot and then gave a lecture called "First Philosophy" which was different teaching style than that in Göttingen. His thesis went on the examine the absolute vindication of life. He clarified the relation between a psychological and a phenomenological analysis of consciousness and his research into the grounding of logic.
