The Park
Once, Auggie was seating on a bench in the park when he was younger. A kid sat down beside him, not seeing Auggie. When they both turned to look at each other, the kid screamed, pointed fingers, and ran away! Because he judged his ouside appearance, he didn't get to know him, and he missed out on having a great friend for life. -
The Bully
While Auggie was taking a tour around his new school, a kid named Julian was already bothering him about his birth defect. He kept on asking him if he was melt in a fire, and he would always laugh at Auggie when he saw his face. Because he was judging Auggie, he was already hating on him, and he didn't even know Auggie's story. -
Lunch
During the middle of the day during lunch, Auggie was sitting by himself; not because he had to, but because nobody would come up to him and sit by him. Even though he didn't have to look up to see or hear, he could see a group of girls at one lunch table at the corner of his eye, and he could see them pointing at him. He could also hear them whispering about him and laughing at him. Because these girls were judging him from the outside, they never got to know how good of a person he was. -
Jack Will
Around Halloween, when Jack, Auggie's best and only friend, didn't see Auggie, he was talking real bad about him behind his back to the bully, Julian! He was saying that he would kill himself if he was Auggie, and Auggie heard it. Because Jack was judgung Auggie, he heart some feeings, and he caused trouble. -
Nature Retreat
When Auggie was on a school nature retreat, he and Jack went to the woods to use the restrrom, because the actual line was too long. In those woods were a group of 7th graders. The group kept on bullying and teasing Auggie, and they even stole his hearing aids. Because they judged Auggie, they made Auggie not be able to hear as well, made some feelings get hurt, and caused themselves to get into loads of trouble.
