William Howard Taft was born on September 15, 1857, near Cincinnati, Ohio. was appointed before he was president to organize a citizens government in the phillipeans. He called himself a progessive during his presidency although he didnt fallow all of the progressives ways. -

He was governor of new jersery so his exsperience was not questioned in his campiagn. He was apart of the progessive movement. also historians deemned him a great president for his work in economy and the federal government invovlement in the economy. -

Calvin Coolidge 1923-1929
Calvin Coolidge was born on July 4, 1872 in Plymouth, Vermont. When he was sworn in as president his father swore him in. Infact he was the only president to be sworn in by his father.
