Bob Kinsella was born on April 12, 1930 in Seneca Falls, New York to his parents Margret and Daniel. He was the youngest of five kids. He had two brothers, Dick and Jack and two sisters, Florence and Mary. -

After arriving in Okinawa, Robert immediately began flying the China patrol. The patrol was one mile off of the Chinese coast and only 50 ft in the air. -

Robert was part of an anti-submarine squadron. He learned all the tricks about hunting submarines but was convinced that unless a submarine came to the surface, he would never hit it. -

Robert had dinner with General Chiang-Kai shek. -

While home, Robert met Mary Louise Daily who he would later marry. -

He is a teacher in Rochester. He and Mary have two baby daughters, Kathy and Debby. -

The Lions Club was an organization of men from all different towns that did civic good for towns all over Syracuse. -

He is a principal of Minoa Elementary. He and Mary have six kids ages 11, 10, 8, 7, 5, and 1. -
Robert Creates Town Sports League
Robert created the sports league for the town of Minoa where kids in the town could play recreational soccer, basketball and baseball. -
Robert Created After School Program at Minoa Elementary
The after school program was started by Robert and allowed kids to do activities after school. -
Robert Takes His Family to Oregon
Robert was working as a principal. He wrote a letter to the school board and asked for the opportunity to teach at another school in the country to learn about other schools and improve Minoa Elementary. Robert got permission and swapped schools with a principal in Eugene Oregon. -
Robert Graduates University of Syracuse
Robert went back to college in 1974 to get his Doctorate in Education. He wrote his Doctoral Thesis on the use of magic to help boost the self confidence of kids who lacked self confidence. -
Robert Becomes the President of the Toast Masters
The Toast Masters was an organization that helped people improve their public speaking and speaking in front of others. -
Robert Turns Garage into Magic Theater
Robert's sons Steve and Dave and Joe did magic shows all over Syracuse and Robert helped them turn the garage into a magic theater and sometimes performed with them. -
Robert Retires as a Principal
After Robert retired as a principal he became a school administrator where became the head of technology. Robert introduced computers to the school district and was the first person to automate the school bussing system. -
Robert Retires From Education
After Robert retired from education, he then went on to working on a book about education and family genealogy. Also his first grandchild Jessica was born -
Robert Turns 60
He is retired and still lives in Minoa. Four of his children are married and he has four grandchildren. -
Robert Wrote the Minoa Chronicle
He created the historical society in Minoa. He chronicled the story of Minoa from older people and other documents. -
Robert Turns 70
He still lives happily in Minoa where he is the local magistrate. He now has eleven grandchildren. -
Robert Publishes "Both Sides of the Desk"
Robert wrote a book about his life teaching and being a principal at an elementary school. -
Robert Turns 80
He still lives in Minoa and now has 18 grandchildren. -
Mary Kinsella Passes Away
Robert's wife Mary passed away at the age of 77. They were married for 55 years. -
Robert Takes Flight Again
60 years to the day, Robert went to an airshow and flew the SNJ, the first plane he ever flew. It was on the same day as the day he first flew a plane back in 1953 -

Robert moved to Boston after living in New York for 86 year. However, he has always been a Red Sox Fan.
