  • Benjamin is born and with a amazing ability

    The first thing benjamin does when he sees his dad he asks "Are you my father?" His dad first thinks that this is some hospital trick but it is no trick. He would soon have to accept benjamin for who he is.
  • Benjamin acts and does grown up things

    A week or two after his birth Benjamin starts to smoke cigars. Alot in his nursery. When his dad walked in on him one time and gave him a severe spanking he would be told that smoking would "stunt your growth"
  • Benjamin has alot of self confidence

    As benjamin gets older he gets more confidence and wants more authority over himself. "I am gorwn. . . I want to put on long trousers." His dad would hesitate at first but then would reach a compromise with Benjamin.
  • Benjamin has trouble at Yale

    Benjamin would go to get his schedule arranged at the office for Yale and one of the first things the registar says to Benjamin is "im very glad to meet you, Mr Button. Im expecting your son any minute." Mr buttion then says "Thats me!" "im a freshman." The Registar then furiously kicks Benjamin out of his office. Yale would soon regret this.
  • Benjamin meets Hildegarde

    Benjamin first sees Hildegarde at the entrance of a party when everyone is getting out of theyre vehicles. Love at first sight. Benjamin tells his father "Dad, you might introduce me to her."
  • Benjamin joins the army

    Benjamin would join the army in 1898 to support the Spanish-American war. At first he was made a major and then lieutenant-colonel by the end of the war. He would try and rejoin for the start of World War two but the disadvantages of his reversed againg would set in.
  • Benjamin becomes a remarkable young man

    Benjamin started to take up lots of new intrests by the time he got to his 20's. He started to play golf and was very good at it and his dancing skills were the envy of every man in town. But as he grew younger more and more people speculated on him and Rosalind's marraige. "Look!" "What a pitty! A young fellow that age tied to a woman of 45. He must be twenty years younger than his wife."
  • Benjamin begins to become noticeably different

    "He seems to grow younger every year." All of Benjamins friends would remark this to eachother. The gray hairs were almost all gone and he started to enjoy the happier side of life.
  • Benjamin is treated like a child by his own son

    Benjamin kept getting younger and younger and by the time he was a grandfather, he appeared to be ten years old. He would soon get younger than his grandson. His dad put him into a class with third and second graders. Soon the only thing he would be able to say would be "Elyphant, elyphant, elyphant."
