Tookie maintained his innocence of his charges. While in prison awaiting his death sentence, "Tookie" decided to change his old ways. This is when he became an author. Wrote Nonfiction books about his life for adults and children. -

1.In 1993, Williams shook hands with a blood member (opp. gang) while in prison to make the gang wars outside of prison to stop.
2. Crazy to find out he was found guilty of charges when NO type of evidence was ever found that led him to the killings.
