The Khiljis
The khilji dynasty was founded by Jalaluddin khijli in 1290.He was a wise ruler.He was murdered by his son in law in order to become the sultan.After killing him Alauddin khijli became the sultan.He ruled with prosperity and defeated many enemies.He made his army stronger,he payed attention to education made sure his people lived in peace.He made some mistakes that was the reason of the death of princes which made the dynasty weak and unfortunately the khilji dynasty came to an end. -

The Tughlaqs
After khilji dynasty tughlaq dynasty ruled over India. They had two famous rulers, one was Sultan Muhammad tughlaq and the other was Feroz tughlaq. Feroz Shah Tughlaq was an amazing Sultan he alaways thought of peoples welfare and opened many educational institute for them as well as mosques. He also improved agriculture. Muhammad Tughlaq was a controversial ruler because of his failure in token currency he was a great scholar of his time and had ideas way beyond his time. -

Timur's Invasion
Timur was of Turk and mongol lineage.In 1398 Timur stood at the gates of Delhi. His soldiers ransacked Delhi for 3 days , They ruined everything and left people devastated.Like sultan Mehmud of Ghazni , Timur took Indian artisans and craftmen back with him to make his city Samarkand beautiful. After that the Delhi sultanate lost power and broke into multiple pieces. -

Lodhi Dynasty
After timur's invasion the sultanate was taken over by Behlol Lodhi. He was a kind and good ruler and he expanded his kingdom. He dies after 38 years and the throne was taken by his son sikander Lodhi. Sikander Lodhi was one of the most wisest , hard-working and dedicated sultan to sit on the throne.He was interested in learning and invited scholars in his court. Many movements happened during his reign and a new religion was formed known as Sikhism. -

Ibrahim Lodhi and the battle of panipat
Ibrahim lodhi was the last of sultans of Delhi.He faced some problems while ruling.When he tried to punish the governer of punjab , the governer called Babar and they had a battle of panipat in which Ibrahim lodhi was defeated and killed in the battle -
