The Trojan War

Before Odyesus Even began his Journey in 'The Oddesy', his first ask was to fight and win the Trojan war. Which he did.

Cicones

Mar 8, 1209

Sometime after the Trojan war Odyseus and his men thought it would be smart to attack and raid the Cicones, who was allies to the Trojans during the war. During this Odyesus last 72 of his men, and continued sailing.

The Lotus Eaters

Mar 10, 1209

After sailing for some time, Odysseus and his shipmates came to an island. Odysseus sent some of his men to look over the island, but while there the men ate some of the Lotus and lost any desire to go home. Odysseus went to get them, dragged them back to the shi and tied them down, and went on.

Aeolus

Mar 12, 1209

It is at this oint in time Aeolus, god of winds, Gives our Hero a bag fo Winds. But the foolish Crew open the bag, thinking it is something else, and it blows them off course

Cyclops

Mar 12, 1210

It is now Or story takes us to the island of Cyclopese. Odysseus and his men are captured by one, and several of his men are eaten by said Cyclops. But using his wit and smarts, Odysseus ceates a plan to escape and soon does.

Last Laestrygones

Mar 14, 1210

It is then that Odysseus saves his men from man eating Laestrygones

Witch Circe

Mar 16, 1210

It is then Odysseus and his men come to the island of the witch Circe, She turns all of Oddyseeus men into pigs, and he is forced to stay with her for an entire year

Land of the dead

Mar 18, 1211

It is then Odysseus is told by Circe to take his men to the Land of the dead and fetch something for her. He does and completes his task

Mar 20, 1211

Our Hero then returns to Circe to tell her what he has Learned of the Underworld

Sirens, Scylla and Charibdis

Mar 22, 1212

Odyseeus and his men then leave Circe's Island, but run into trouble with the Sirens. They are save then, but then came across the two moster Scylla and Charibdis. Six of the crew.

Helios's Cattle and Zues

Mar 24, 1212

Even though Odysseus was warned not to eat the cattle, after he had fallen asleep, his crew went of and ate some of it anyway. They were then zapped with lighting by Zeus, and had thier journey held back further

Calypso

Mar 26, 1212

It is now that Odysseus comes ot the Island of the Sweet Nymph. Calypso. He stays with he for Seven years

Escape from Calypso

Mar 8, 1219

After seven years of living with Calypso, the Goddess Athena convinces Zeus to tell Calypso to release Odysseus. Calypso does as told and help Odysseus build a raft

King Alcinous

Mar 11, 1219

After drifting for several days Odyseeus drifting to the island of King Alcinious, where he then told the King of his adventures and what had happened to him

Return to Ithaca

Mar 13, 1219

It was the next day Odysseus was told by the Goddes Athena that he was in his Home Ithaca, he did did not believe her at first, but soon realized this was his home. Athena then diguised him as and old beggar as to not draw attention from the suitors that were trying to woo his wife

Argos the Dog

It is here that Odysseus saw Argos. The dog whom he had trained from a puppy twenty years earlier, lying in a pile of dung. But once the animal saw his master, he wagged his tail, and promptly died

Odyseus meets His son.

Odysseus then meets his son, Telemachus. At first, the boy who had been searching for his father for several years now, did not believe it was him. He had been told Odyseus was a great, stong, glorious man, not and old beggar. But with the Help of Athena, he soonrealized that the bggar was really his father

The Test of the Bow

Penelope, the wife of Odysseus, had finnaly lost hope in her husband returning. So a contest she held, whom ever could shoot Odysseus bow through twelve Ax head may wed her. And it was Odysseus, still diguised as a beggar, who did this

The Battle With the Suitors

After winning the contest, Odysseus became himself again. And with the help pf his son, his swine heard, his cow heard, and Athena, the fought the 1oo suitors and won his wife back

Together Once More

After the battle, Odysseus goes to find his wife, and tells her who he is. Penelope is very unmoved, and doesn't believe him. It was then she tricks him, and tells Odysseus that she had moved thier bed. Odysseus proceeds to tell her how he had built it, and how it could not be moved. Penelope is over joyed that it is actually her husband. She kisses and embraces him, and the go off to tell each other what had happened during thier time parted
