For 2 weeks, Henry and bill start being stalked by a large wolve pack. One pretend to be dogs to get food. Then they start losing a dog every night. Bill ends up sercoming to the wolves. Henry is completely defencless besides the fire he surounds himself with. -

Food was plenty, and the pack of 40 wolves started branching out. After a while, there were only 4 left. There was the she-wolf, who was the leader and only female. To reiterate the fact that the wild is cruel, by the end of winter, White Fang is the only surviving cub. When spring came along, he loved to explore. The book shows the cub as smart, but not as in human intelect. He learns “laws”. Such things as to attack what is small and to run from what is big. The cub eventually wonders into a native camp. This is were he sees his first glimpse of humans. This is also the first point where we see his urges collide. His wolf blood says to run away, but his dog side is curious. He ends up just freezing up. One of the natives stood and walked to him. He reached down for the cub, and another battle erupted in his instincts. The confrontation was between yielding and biting. This is also the start of his first master. -

Kiche bites are justified
Right away the cub knew he had broken the law; he had sunken his teeth into sacred flesh. He ran to Grey Beaver, the chief, and expected a beating. When the boy showed up, so did the chiefs son. Heated arguments were thrown back and forth. The chief won the argument. He then revised his law, of course unconsciously. He learned there are gods, his gods, and then there are other gods. “He was compelled to take all things from his own god, but not the injustice of other gods. -
White Fangs protects masters child
Chiefs son his attacked by a group of boys. White fang saves him and gets rewarded. -
Gets sold to cruel master
White fang get's sold to his second master. He trains White Fang as a dog fighter. -

Despite knowing he has been traded, he returns to the chief, where his loyalty sticks. He is then held for Beauty to recollect. -
Jack rescues White fang
Jack interupts a fight in which White Fang is about to die. He saves the wolf and becomes the new owner. -

We find that White Fang trusts his master with all of his life when he kills a murderer and becomes injured by a knife.
