Early life
Heisenberg born 5 Dec. 1901 was a top notch student, finishing in the top of his class. Heisenberg was particularly fond of mathematics and physics and had a feel for music as well.

university/professor
Heisenberg planning to study pure mathematics, had ended up switching over to theoretical physics. He later would being Germany's youngest full time professor teaching theoretical physics. -
Quantum
After getting his doctorate, Werner decided to come up with his own quantum mechanic. Since he couldn't really see particles move, he decided to go the mathematics routine but what he found was so unfamiliar. Mathematics of Matrices is the math that was later labeled in his discovery and then he had sent his paper off for publication. Although Einstein had objected to this new theory, this was indeed a breakthrough in Quantum mechanics. -
Fission
Werner was drafted by Germany for World War II to help with discovery of Nuclear Fission. He never could get the hang of building an atomic bomb or figuring out the ratios. He eventually wasn't really part of the project but instead an administrator, by the end of the war the Allied Science intelligence unit had captured Werner and multiple other scientists for interrogation and all papers and recordings. -
Late in life
Werner fought for a National Policy for forming science and technology. He also fought for the lift of the ban of constructing reactors as well, as he says nuclear energy is the way of the future. He also worked to expand his own institute, which was renamed to the Max Planck institute for physics, it focused on astrophysics and experimental and theoretical and high-energy physics. Werner would later go on and eventually die in his own home of cancer Feb. 1st, 1976.
