    Boston Tea Party
    The Boston Tea Party was a political protest in Boston, Massachusetts. It occurred because American Colonists were mad because of "taxation without representation". They dumped 342 chests of British tea into the harbor. They did this to show British that American's wouldn't allow taxation nor tyranny.
  • American Revolution

    American Revolution
    The American Revolution, also known as the Revolutionary War, was a colonial revolt that took place between 1765 and 1783. It was between the residents of Great Britain's 13 North American Colonies and the colonial government. "The shot heard round the world" signaled the start of the war and led to the creation of a new nation. This is important to US history because it was when we declared independence from Great Britain.

    This campaign involved many different kinds of groups and individuals. The campaign took many different kinds of forms. They used non-violent and political methods. Some of these methods were asking for signatures and lobbying parliament. It was important because it was the road for women's rights, such as voting.

    The civil war was fought in the United States by the north & the south. It was over slavery, states’ rights and westward expansion. This event is important in US history because this war ended all the tension and arguments. It's also important because this war caused a lot of lives to be lost. (end date: April 9, 1865)

    Slavery was when african americans were held captive to work tremendously day and night. They weren't payed but they were given food and shelter. This event is important in US history because it was such a crazy experience people had to go through. It also shows us how scary it was for people to have to go through this torture.

    Everything happened after the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand. During the war were two forces that were against, the central power which consists on Germany, Austria-Hungary, Bulgaria and the Ottoman Empire; and the Allied power which is composed by Great Britain, France, Russia, Italy, Romania, Japan, and the United States. It ended in 1918

    The Manhattan Project was a research that was made during World War II. During the Manhattan Project, the first nuclear weapon was created. The Manhattan Project was led by the United States with help from the United Kingdom and Canada. It was important because it allowed the United States to be introduced to the destructive creation of warfare know to mankind.

    The Roaring Twenties refers to the decade of the 1920's in Western society and Western culture. It was a period of economic prosperity. This event is important in US history because it caused a very dramatic social and political change. It also swept a lot of americans away due to it's economic growth.
  • The Great Depression

    The Great Depression was a worldwide economic depression, that effected many people. It began after the stock market crash of October 1929. The Great Depression caused half of all banks to fail, the unemployment rose 25%, and prices fell 10 percent per year. This left a major impact in US History and will always be remembered.

    It started when Germany invaded Poland. Great Britain and France get allied with Poland and declared war on Germany. Germany started getting a lot of power around Europe, but when try to invade the Soviet territory, they started surrendering because of the weather. Germany surrender but Japan continued. Japan got defeated once the second atomic bomb destroyed for the second time another city. The bomb was threw it by the United States. The war ended in September 2, 1945.
  • Pearl Harbor

    Pearl Harbor
    Pear Harbor was a U.S.naval base in Honolulu, Hawaii which was attacked by the Japanese during World War II. Japan attacked with fighter planes. They managed destroy about 20 American naval vessels, 8 battleships, and over 300 airplanes. More than 2,400 Americans died including civilians and 1,000 wounded.

    America and Russia were together fighting together during the World War II, but they had a few problems with Stalin's leadership, and started a fight just when the war ended. Everything start because the Soviet Union was a communist country, and wanted to spread it around the world, most of the countries disagree, United States being one of those. This fight ended on 1991.
  • Civil Rights

    The Civil Rights provided protection to all people and for their individual rights. It lasted 10 years, a decade, from 1950's to 1960's. It was for colored people to gain their equal rights. This event is important for the US because, it demonstrates how now colored people have their own rights and freedom unlike, before that it was only for whites. 1954-1968.
  • Vietnam War

    The United States fought against North Vietnam to stop communism. The country was split into communist North Vietnam and non-communist South Vietnam. The conflict was intensified by the ongoing Cold War between the United States and the Soviet Union. North Vietnam was supported by the Soviet Union, China and North Korea, while South Vietnam was supported by the United States, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and the Philippines. The war ended in April 30, 1975.

    Rosa Parks was a women that was active in politics. She refused to give her seat on a bus to a white men, she got arrested. She was also a motivation for the Civil Rights and the Bus Boycotts. Rosa Parks helped Martin Luther King Jr. free colored people. Dec 20, 1956.
  • Martin Luther King Jr Leads March On Washington

    Martin Luther King Jr Leads March On Washington
    This march was a massive advocate for the civil and economic rights of African Americans. Mr. King wanted to give the speech to give an end to racism. He worked for equal rights for everyone. He gave the speech "I Have a Dream".
  • Assassination of John F. Kennedy

    Assassination of John F. Kennedy
    President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas while doing a campaign visit. This event was a profound political and cultural impact on the nation. This event impacted the US because he was a president to be remembered. He negotiated the Nuclear Test-Ban Treaty and initiated the Alliance for Progress.
  • Apollo 17

    Apollo 17
    Apollo 17 was the final mission NASA's Apollo program. The members that were involved are; Gene Cernan, Harrison Schmitt, and Ronald Evans. This as the final mission as of 2019 that humans have traveled to and walked on the moon. This is important to US history because it allowed us to gain more information about the moon.

    This event was main impact to America because because it was on their public opinion for 25 years. It was a wall between East and West Berlin, which the East was communist and the West was non-communist. This was a fight in between the same country of Berlin.

    9/11 was a very tragic event. The twin towers were attacked on a sunday morning by the Islamic terrorist group al-Qaeda. This event was important to US history because this event impacted a lot of people. It´s also important because every year on this day we come to together to remember all the lives that were lost.
