Staar got in the cafe colonel walk in and Staar started to ask questions about the stolen in boat and when Dolph Andrews got murdered. -
Lavender
Lavender is dales big brother and mo loves him and wishes to marry him. Mo gets very jealous whenever a girl is around lavender. Mo is in 6th grade and lavender is 19. Mo proposed to lavender at the age of 6 and still keeps on proposing. -
Race
Lavender,Mo,Dale,Sam,Crissy,Missy were at the race. Mo was jealous of Crissy and Missy because they were flirting with Sam and Lavender. During that race Lavender got in an accident and the doctor said he might get a concussion. And if he does they should immediately call the doctor. Mo and Dale saw their 6th grade teacher,Mrs.Retzle with Joe Staar. Mo was very surprised to her with Joe Staar. -
Murderer
We still dont know who the murderer in chapter 5. He or she killed Mr. Jesse on his boat. He got his boat from dale before he got killed. Dale got the reward. Dale is the prime suspect of the murder of Mr.Jesse. -
Race accident
Lavender is participating in a race and his friend Sam bring 2 twin girls Crissy and Missy. In the race something happens to lavenders truck and he gets a concussion. The doctor said if he throws up or does something it means he's going to get a concussion and the doctor should know immediately -
Desperado detectives
Mo and Dale made a business called the Desperado Detectives and they are going to solve the murder case. Dale got grounded so he couldn't go with Mo to the crime scene. So Mo went alone and got caught by Detective Joe Staar. They went back to the cafe and Staar asked Mrs.Lana questions. Mrs.Lana gave away Mo's biggest clue on accident to Joe Staar. -

Detective Joe Starr starts to question Dale and tries to pretend to place Dale under arrest in a plan to fool the killer so he might show his face. -
Staar
Starr come into the cafe and asks a lot of questions about the murder for Mr. Jesse to the people and Attila saw a boy but Mo knowns it is Dale but Attila does not know that. -
Mrs.Lana!
Mrs.Lana got kidnapped by the killer. The killer left a note for Staar. It was at the Mimosa festival. Lavender needed 1,000 dollars for a race. Mo and Dale got to 1,099 dollars. -
A suitcase full of cash
A suitcase full of cash was a rumour that Mr.Macon made after Colonel bought the cafe and adopted Mo. Mo feels like the murderer kidnapped Mrs.Lana for the money. He may thought that the rumour was true. Mo also feels like that the rumour can help Detective Starr with the investigation. -
Murderer
The murderer who killed Mr.Jesse and kidnapped Mrs.Lana is Robert Slate. Dale told Starr that "Plainclothes Phill was his "bodyguard" after Dale became famous. Then Starr said he had no one called that and he said that was a wanted criminal. And that's how they identified him as Robert Slate. Robert Slate was a wanted criminal and a bank robber. He bailed out of jail a few weeks before Mr.Jesse. And that's when the story gets pretty exciting when they try to find Robert Slate. -
Raise money
Mo and Dale are trying to raise money for Laveder so he can race.So Mo and Dale raise money at a fair for him so he can use the money for his car and gt it fixed for the race. -
Slate found
Slate,Macon,and Deputy Marla were all working together. They found Mrs.Lana with the help of Starr and the Colonel. Colonel was a lawyer who helped Slate with the robbery long time ago.
