In the fall of 1940 Thomas Kuhn started his tenure at Harvard university following his father's footsteps, studying the great philosophers of anytime like Plato, Aristotle and desecrates. while he went through many trials his first few years studying at Harvard, one that impacted him the most was the situation going on in Europe at the time with World War II, focusing on the evil things Hitler was doing. he went from a pacifist way of thought to an interventionist.
  • Time of Change

I believe this time for Thomas Kuhn was also a very important time in the history of science as well. Having been introduced to Aristotle's idea of motion, it was hard to understand seeing as he was looking from a different perspective. after taking time to read his thoughts on physics instead of comparing them to Issac newtons on the laws of motion, it started to make sense. this led to him wanting to become a philosopher of science.
  • Lowell Lectures

These lectures Thomas Kuhn attended were important because it was one of his first time explaining to a crowd how the traditional way, we look at things through strictly scientific eye may be slowing down the development of science and how we discover things in the future. putting more of a focus on the creative lane it took to get to these conclusions instead of just the facts and evidence.
  • Copernican Revolution

In 1957 Thomas Kuhn wrote a book called the Copernican Revolution, basically stating that the earth was in fact not the center and it was in fact the sun. What he targeted in his writing was something he believed others missed which was plurality. He described plurality as a person's philosophical or even religious commitment, swaying the way you come up with a conclusion.
  • Last writings

The Book "The last writings" Is a book that contains text from a proposed book he started called words and worlds: an evolutionary view of scientific development. split into three parts, the first part explained a new way of viewing scientific development. the second part focused on language and the third part focused on how a community acquired that language.
