    Thomas Jefferson goes to college at, College of William and Mary's in Williamsburg for 3 years. He realized that all of the students there liked to expand their energy by betting on horse races, playing cards, and courting women instead of studying for their classes. He usually hung out with older scholars like Professor William Small, Lieutenant Governor Francis Fauquier, and George With who was a lawyer. He truly received his education from all of them.

    Jefferson practiced law in Virginia.George Wythe got him the knowledge to law. He won most of the cases he tried. Thomas tried a ton of cases and in the years of that he married Martha Wayles Skeleton.

    Thomas Jefferson married Martha Wayles Skeleton. She was one of the most wealthiest women in Virginia. They had 6 children together but only 2 of the 6 survived in the future of adulthood. The two that survived were Mary and Martha.

    Thomas Jefferson got elected to second continental congress. This created a continental army. It also appointed George Washington. Most of the important work was left to Thomas Jefferson.

    Thomas Jefferson drafts the Declaration Of Independence. In 17 days he finished his draft. It was a beautiful and powerful testament for equality and liberty. Knowingly one of the best testaments ever written in world history. The document went under a lot of revisions even though it was a really good draft.

    He wrote the Virginia Statue for Religious Freedom. This separated the church and state. This was one of Jeffersons best life accomplishments. It hadn't became a Virginia state law for another 9 years after writing it.

    The Virginia Legislature elected Jefferson as the states second governor. It proved a low political point in his life. He didn't really ever please anyone especially with the Continental army in need of people to fight. He moved the capital to Richmond from originally having it in Wellington.

    Thomas Jefferson began working on a book called, "Notes on the State of Virginia". It was about his political and world view. It showed his views on slavery and race also. The book outlined the history and culture of Virginia.

    Became U.S minister to France. He took the place of Benjamin Franklin. He regained his friendship back with John Adams in Europe who served as the minister to Great Britain. He mainly negotiated loans and also trade agreements with government officials in Paris and Amsterdam. He spent nearly 5 years in Paris.

    Thomas Jefferson became president of the U.S. His Vice president would be Aaron Burr. He spent 8 years as president. He put an end to the old problem with Barbary pirates messing with American ships in the Mediterranean sea by demanding them to deploy new American ships. His most significant thing he did during his presidency was the Louisiana purchase.
