Squanto was KIDNAPPED (AGAIN)
Shortly after returning to his homeland, he was taken by Thomas Hunt who would sell him into enslavement in Spain. He was enslaved for another 5 years until he escaped; He voyaged back to North America in 1619. -
Squanto assimilates
After Squanto returned from Europe he soon realized the entirety of his tribe had died because of small pox. He chose to assimilate into the Wampanoag tribe that was near by. -

Squanto has his first ever encounter with the colonizers in Plymouth, Massachusetts. He serves as an interpreter between the Pilgrims and the Wampanoag; This is because while enslaved for the second time he learned english. -
