    In 1997, Thailand went through a financial collapse. This resulted in very large amounts of debt and bankruptcies.

    In June of 2011, Derek graduates middle schhol. He graduated from NCMS

    In September of 2012, Derek starts high school. He attends Cumberland High School.

  • Protests

    In November of 2012, police are forced to a 10,000 person protest. The protesters wanted an overthrow of Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra.

  • Peace talks

    in february of 2013, peace talks are organized. The talks include muslim seperatists from the south.

  • Early Elections

    In December of 2013, Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra announces that early elections will be held in February 2014. She does not step down in the meantime.

  • Graduation

    in June of 2016, Derek will graduate from CHS. He will go to collge far away

  • Takeover

    Takeover
    In 2020, Thailand will get taken over by a neighboring country. The former government will be deemed unable to run the country.
