    Ted Bundy is Born
    Ted Bundy was born in a facility for young and unwed mothers. He was given to his grandparents to be raised to help hid his mother's shame. Until an older age, he was unaware that his grandparents were not his real parents.
  • First Confirmed Assault

    Bundy's first confirmed assault was in the bedroom basement of an 18 year old female from the University of Washington. He raped and beat the teen with a metal rod from her bedframe. He did not murder her, however he did leave her with serious brain damage.

    Bundy's second victim was another female from the University of Washington that he successfully mudered, dumping her body in another location.

    The third victim was a female from Evergreen State College. This victim he kidnapped and murdered as well.
  • Victim Number Four

    This victim was a student from Central Washington State University whom Bundy was able to lure to his car using a fake arm cast. He pretended to be a student in need of assistance carrying his books to his car because of his arm injury. He convinced the female to help him out, only for her fate to turn sour and result in kidnapping and death.

    This victim was a female from Oregon State University whom was last seen in May of 1974.
  • Two in One Month

    Two in One Month
    This time around Bundy was able to add two victims to his list. The first victim was a female student who was leaving a tavern late one night, and the second was a student who was walking from her boyfriend's dorm room to her sorority house late one night. Bundy was able to lure the second one by asking for help due to his leg cast. He needed help carrying his briefcase to his car, the same car previously reported.

    In July of 1974, Bundy decided to change his ways. Now, he would no longer hunt for his victims at colleges at night, he would find them at parks during the day.
  • Unsuspecting Conditions

    Unsuspecting Conditions
    While Bundy changed his tactics, he allowed the police to get one step closer to catching him. Now that his assaults would take place during the day, police were able to get a sketch of what he looked like. He captured and murdered two young females from Lake Sammamish State Park in Washington. He lured them using a sling and his car with a fake Canadian accent and young, attractive look asking unsuspecting women for help.

    In the fall of 1974 Ted Bundy moved from Washington state to Salt Lake City, Utah to study law. Here, the murders continued. He used a different MO and lured young women by telling them that he was a police officer conducting an investigation. He managed to kill three young women in the month of October alone.

    In November Bundy's attempts failed twice. He tried first to coax a woman into his car and hit her with a crow bar, but she managed to escape as he was driving. The other failed attempt was at a high school where he tried to lure both a teacher and a student into getting into his car (pretending to be a police officer) and both refused. Then, he pick up a 17 year old girl walking to pick up her little brother from school.

    Bundy traveled to Idaho and Colorado with the murders in an attempt to redeem himself. Many believe he moved elsewhere because so many witnesses had seen him. He managed to kill four females throughout this time span by pretending to have a leg injury and needing help loading things in his car.

    Finally, Bundy gets arrested in August of 1975 for failing to stop for a police officer. When police were finally able to search his car they found what they believed to be burglarly tools, and we then able to link him to the Utah murders and the kidnapping in which the victim escaped.
  • Bundy is Convicted

    Bundy is convicted of kidnapping in March of 1976 and sentenced to 15 years in prison.
  • Bundy Escapes

    Bundy Escapes
    Bundy escapes from the law library of the court building while awaiting trial for the murder of the Utah victims. He was caught after only six days.

    Bundy escapes again. This is seven months after his first escape. This time Bundy was able to take a train, steal a car, and take a bus all the way to Flordia where he began his murderous ways once again.

    In January of 1978 during a thirty minute period Bundy manages to injur four female students from the Florida State University campus sorority house. Two of the females were killed while two were just badly injured. Then, he broke into a house down the street and injured another female student while she was sleeping.

    In February of 1978 Bundy killed a 12- year old girl, and was caught about a week later in a stolen car. The same type of car he used to drive.
  • Bundy is Executed

    Bundy got executed on January 24th of 1989 after losing several appeals. He confessed to killing 35 women, but many believe the number to be much higher.
