Move from Texas to Florida
Paul was on his way to Florida from Texas. Before he left, his imagination of a zombie following him representing that he was part of the family and that problems follow you no matter where you go. -
Muck Fire
Paul and mom called the fire depart, but when the volunteer of the fire department came they understood why he wasn't worried, that fire has been burning since he can remember. Later that day Paul saw the lake and when he came back there was a man talking to his mom. Erik and his dad came back and meet Mr. Costello and his son. They were impressed by Erik, Mike looked like a decent guy but it was going to change after he gets caught up inside Erik Fisher Football Dream. -
Lake Windsor Middle School
Paul and his mom went to see the school he was going to. His mom had to fill out a IEP form because of his eyesight. She said he was legally blind. The only question Paul asked the principle was if they had a soccer team. -
Football Tryout Camp
There was a tryout camp for the football team. Erik did not have to tryout but he was there anyways. Paul met Joey he also played soccer. Paul blocked all of the shots from the other guys. -
First Day Of School
It is Paul's first day of school. He had a flashback about about when in his other school they made fun of him. They called him "Eclipse Boy" because he stared at the sun unprotected during an eclipse. -
Afraid of Erik and Arthur
Erik was playing football with a friend named Arthur. Arthur's sister and his girlfriend where there too. Paul says that Arthur had found himself a place in the Erik Fisher Football Dream. Arthur had never played in a game and he has a chance he will do anything for Erik. Paul used to be afraid of Erik and now of Erik and Arthur. -
Unbreakable Glasses
Paul has glasses that don't break, he uses them for sports. The next day were going to be the tryouts, him and Joey ran a few laps. They saw a house that was hit by lightning three times. -
Soccer Tryouts
Paul was ready tryouts for the. The coach said only fifteen payers can go to away games because they have a small bus. Gino was the captain of the team. They ran laps and then kicked the ball, Paul went to get his goggles. They underestimated him, Gino kicked the ball as hard as possible but Paul made go far from the goal. The coach didn't see anything but he knew he was "Lake Windsor Middle School goaltender" -
The Death Of Mike Costello
Paul and his Mom had just returned from the store. Erik came out of a car and Arthur followed him, They told his mom that Mike was dead. They explained how he died. His dad called 911, when Paul's mom called his dad he was already at the hospital. Paul said that Erik and Arthur are the people that will benefit from Mike's death. Mike Costello never fit in the "Erik Fisher Football Dream". Paul said "Now Mike is dead but the Dream lives on". -
A Day Without The Costellos
Paul's mom thought that they would cancel school or practice but they didn't. They didn't say anything on the middle school announcements. At practice he thought how it would like if Erik died. His Parents are arguing about where they live in, what happened, and the practices. -
Football Meeting
There was a meeting about football. Parents came, Coach Warner and Mr. Bridge came. Paul's mom talked about not practicing when there is lightning. His mom and Coach Warner argued about that. She said to start practice at 6:30 am. Mr. Donnelly said how his house was hit by lightning. At the end they decided that they would ask parents about practice being at 6:30 am. -
Paul Is Out Of The Soccer Team
Paul was practicing they said coach was calling him. Paul thought that the coach was going to tell him he was on the team. Coach said they couldn't let him play because his eyesight problem. When his dad talked to the coach he said he can be the "Team Manager", but Paul said "I'm not a team manager. I'm a player." Later that day was the public viewing of Mike. Paul went and Joey asked about the and he explained what happened. Kerri said he was a good player, He didn't respond but wished he did. -
Lake Windsor Carnival
Joey asked Paul if he wanted to go to the carnival after the funeral to get his mind off Mike. When Paul's mom took them they saw a gang at the entrance, They were from Tangerine Middle School. When they got inside nobody pay attention to him, not even Kerri. He left the group for half an hour and came back and nobody knew. They saw the gang again on a truck, His mom was saying how nobody had seat belt. But he only thought about the "boy who never grew" and his face of fear, he felt that fear. -
The Sinkhole
Paul and the guys he was with at the carnival where at Mr. Murrow office. They accused for vandalism at the carnival, but was kids from an other school. Then they came back when they saw how hard it was raining, after that they saw the sinkhole. Paul thought it was an earthquake. After helping people, Paul saw Gino and talked about how it was not fair. Later that Day Paul's Grandparents called to say they were on national news. His dad was really angry because the questions reporters asked him. -
The Tangerine Times
The cover of the newspaper was the middle school. There was a letter from Mrs. Gates saying that there is a meeting on Friday. The sixth graders started school on Thursday. Old Charley Burns returned and took care of the case. Paul's dad did not want to be part of it. -
Old Charley Burns
Eyewitness News special report is about Old Charley Burns. Charley never inspected instead of that he has been living the high life, at a Florida Gators game, or at a stock-car race. After the news Paul's dad got a call, he had a new job offer. "Old Charley Burns-former Director, the racing fan, the real character- no longer exists". -
Parent Meeting
Paul thought they would not have school for one, two or even six months because his mom was calling private schools. At the meeting the seventh graders had to choices start at 1:30 pm and leave at 7 pm, or go to Tangerine Middle School. Paul wanted to go to Tangerine Middle, with no IEP form. -
Tangerine Middle School
It was Paul's first day at Tangerine Middle. Theresa was his guide, she did not speak much. He went to the soccer practice, and Theresa's brother is on the team but he is suspended. There only one team for boys and girls. Paul's mom officially moved him to Tangerine Middle, and he had no IEP form. -
Victor Guzman
Paul was having a normal and cool day. Well it was until lunch, Paul was eating when Victor came. Victor was being a bully, he was really mean but Paul was calm. He did not argue back. Paul asked Victor why they were suspended, but he knew the answer. -
The Shoes
Paul and Joey were hanging out outside seeing their new uniforms but they felt the fire too close and went back inside. When they went back they saw Erik and Arthur, They were making fun of Joey and Mike and about the shoes. Joey took Mike's shoes off when he died because when he came home he always took them off. Paul said he needed company at Tangerine Middle. -
Tangerine VS Palmetto
It was their first game, it was an away game. They all went on the bus, when they got there Paul was not playing at first. Then coach asked him if he knew how to play anything else than just goal, he went and played center forward. Palmetto was winning 1-0, Victor said that if they lost Paul was dead. Victor scored and tied 1-1. After the game Victor apologized to Paul. Later that day Joey called Paul saying that he is going to Tangerine on Monday, and Paul gave him advise. -
Lake Windsor High VS Cypress Bay High
It was the first football game, Paul and his family attended. Cypress Bay led 7-0, but then Lake Windsors scored to make it 7-6. Erik was going to kick the ball but Antoine took the ball away. After the game Erik couldn't stop thinking of that. Paul thought somebody was going to pay for that. -
Victor Is Not Playing
They were playing against Kinnow Middle. It was a really busy game, Kinnow were good at soccer. By half-time the score was 3-3. Paul was going to play for Victor, because he was bleeding. Paul actually scored a goal and the score was 7-3. Victor gave a high-five Paul. Later that day Cara called him and asked him if he liked Kerri, He did not respond. After that he called Joey, Joey said that Kerri was listening everything. -
Victor's Stitches
Victor could not practice because he had the stitches. Paul said Victor looked like Frankenstein. He got mad and said he would pull them out him self. He left and after practice came back with a 7-eleven Big Gulp. He asked Paul why Joey followed him all the time. They were making fun of him. Joey did not want to go to Paul's house because Erik and Arthur may be there. -
The Interview
During practice a van came. The van said on the side "Tangerine Times". They wanted to talk to the girls on the team. Paul imminently knew his mom told them about it. Victor thought they would talk to him but they didn't. On the newspaper had the wrong picture. -
No More Joey
They had a science project and Paul and Joey were in Henry D's group. Joey didn't want to be with them. Then he said he was not in the team. He wants to play football in high school. They started arguing. -
Anger Issues
The first day Joey came he had attitude and called Theresa a "guide dog". Joey said he had a problem with Tino. They both argued and then Joey said Paul was afraid of them and his brother. He wanted to leave the group, and he actually did. -
Problems In Tangerine
There was a meeting, They talked about the problems in Tangerine. Like Robberies, Muck Fires, Bugs and other stuff. They talked about all those thing and tried to solve them one by one. Paul found a file that said "Erik--Scholarship Offers", Someone was coming and Paul said that he was going back to that file. -
The New Glasses
Joey did not go to school and Paul knew why, he said that he was going to re-enroll at Lake Windsor. Theresa gave him a map to their house. Henry D. was going to meet Luis and she invited Paul. When they got there they met him. After that Paul remembered that his parents told Erik to move around him but Paul couldn't see him. That was when he got his new glasses. -
The Change
Paul's family didn't eat together any more, they are all busy now. They focus on their own stuff. Paul had played all 90 minutes on five games. He said the other teams were scared of them and, he also said it was the best thing that ever happened to him. -
Paul Returns
Paul went back to Luis' house. Tino was with him. Paul wasn't feeling so good so Tino took him and sprayed him with something. They started talking about the project. Paul called his mom but, before she came Paul told Tino he was the one that said it was them. That was a bad idea, Tino hit him on the back. -
Grandparents' Vacation
Paul and his family went to Mr. Donelly's house. They talked about Betty Bright and how good she was as a hurdler. When they left Paul had a memory but his mom talked to him. His grandparents are going to Florida for a vacation. He remembered that they said what happened to his eyes. -
Paul's Goal
They had a game and Tangerine was winning. Paul scored an awesome goal but it didn't count after because it was raining and they couldn't play. Tangerine was going to destroy them. Their next game was against Lake Windsor. They were talking bad about Gino. -
Soccer Records
On the newspaper it shows the middle school soccer. On the top scorers at number 2 Gino and Victor are tied with 18 goals each. Tangerine is 9-0-0 and Lake Windsor is 9-0-1. It also talks about Betty. Paul wonders if that memory brothers her. -
The Champions
It was time for the game. Shandra did not look well. When Paul went in Shandra vomited. Paul was in for her and Cesar Salad was in for Paul. The score was 2-2. There was a penalty. Gina was going to take it. Paul dived the wrong way he felt it went into the net. He looked and the ball was not there. Tangerine Middle was the champion. -
Erik VS Tino
The science group went to Paul's house. It was the first time someone went to his house other than Joey, Paul wonders if that will ever happen again. They were playing soccer with the group. Paul heard the sound of Arthur's Land Cruiser. He was afraid and didn't move. When Erik and Arthur came in they saw Tino and Theresa and said mean things, Tino was very mad. Then he said that what happened to Erik. Erik punched him in the face, but Paul didn't tell his parents anything about that. -
The Blackjack
Since the season was over Paul had to go with his mom everywhere. She had a meeting at the high school about Erik's grades. Paul saw them practice, he saw Luis. Luis was looking for Erik. Arthur got out a gym bag and got his blackjack out. Luis told him to hit him because he already hit a little kid and why not hit him too. Arthur hit Luis really hard but Paul couldn't see any blood. -
Thanksgiving Sleep Over
Paul got a call from his grandparents. They are going to say "hello", but only for an hour or two. When Paul's dad talks about Erik Fisher Football Dream they try to change the topic. Paul was going to have a sleep over with Luis and Tino and other guys. He was frozen for a while. His parents were going time together, but Paul was not there. Paul did sleep but he did not look very or feel well. -
Sleepy Paul
Paul slept 18 hours straight, and nobody woke him up for the game or Thanksgiving dinner. He was hungry and went to the kitchen, his dad went there too. The saw the newspaper and Erik was not even mentioned. His dad said that they made Erik and Arthur look like fools but Paul thought about what would happen on Monday. His mom said what if Erik doesn't have the talent. His dad kind of got mad. Paul didn't feel so well, and he saw the neighbors mailbox smashed and someone wrote"SEAGULLS SUCK". -
Paul's Date
Paul was feeling well but didn't go with his parents. Paul wondered how it went but Erik didn't say anything. He got a call from Kerri to be her date, Paul said yes. They had a meeting, They talked about the robberies, and the koi fish. Paul said it may not be people. -
The Death Of Luis Cruz
Henry D. told Paul that Luis Cruz had died.He said that it might had been the branches that fell on his head. Paul didn't think it was that. He told his mom but only what Henry D. said not what he thought. He thought that Arthur and Erik killed him. -
Luis' Funeral
Paul didn't go to school, and his mom said that girl was calling him. It was Theresa she told Paul to not go to the funeral because Victor and Tino were saying bad things, Paul knew they knew about Arthur and Erik. Then a kid told Paul about a kid who was eaten by a gator, Paul said it was fake. Then they mentioned other story the kid heard, Paul mentioned Erik and others kids that died. The kid never heard about them, then he said the kid that looked at the solar eclipsed and got blind. -
Luis Is Now Part Of Paul
Paul's mom left at 10 AM. He was all by himself. He was wearing a suit that he wore at Mike's funeral. He went to the wall and started digging. He cried and when he stopped he thought Luis was a part of him. He felt like another person. -
Senior Awards Night
It was the Senior Awards Night, and Paul had to go. When they got there Paul saw Joey and Kerri, the date he never had. He also saw Tino and Victor, he was scared. Tino walked to Erik and kicked him. Everybody tried to stop them. Paul thought about Vincent Castor who was the Arthur at the time. -
The Truth
Paul talked to Joey and they said, Betty Bright's car was outside Mr. Donnelly's house. Then he saw Shandra, they talked about how Antoine didn't live in Lake Windsor but, played in Lake Windsor. Betty Bright said that Shandra was moving to High School and wanted Paul on the goal. Paul wanted Maya's place. Antoine and Paul talked, he said to let the truth out and to never hide under the bleachers. Paul knew what he meant, Antoine was there when they hit Luis. -
Arthur Arrested
Paul thought that Antoine's story in the newspaper was shocking. His dad was getting a lot of phone calls. Then Paul told his dad that Antoine was always on the football field, not at the supermarket or McD's. Later there was a meeting, they said that Erik and Arthur stool the things. Joey called Paul to say that the Sheriffs were looking for Arthur. When they took Arthur and Paul said what he knew. His grandparents came at the wrong time. -
Paul Expelled
Paul's mom had a meeting at 7:30 am. Paul was waiting with Theresa outside. Then he came inside and Victor told him what to do. He said that it would only be a three-week suspension. Paul went in and Dr. Johnson said he was expelled for what he did. He was talking with his mom and he is going to a new privite school. -
The Blame
Paul's dad took Erik to the police department. Arthur was "blaming" Erik. Tino called Paul and asked him what he was going to do, and also that he can go anytime to the groves. -
St. Anthony Middle School
Paul's first day of school for the 3rd time in one year. His dad was going to drive him there. They saw Mike's tree, Paul thought that Luis has his tree and he would have a lot more. He said that the car filled wth the sent.
