Move from Texas and Florida
Paul was on his way to Florida from Texas . Before he left , his imagination of a zombie following him representing that he was part of the family and that problems follow you no matter where you go. -
Meeting Mr.Costello and Mike
Later that day Paul saw a black Jeep Cherokee parked in his driveway.He saw a man in shorts talking to his mom .Mr. Costello is the presidents of the Homeowners Associations. He lives in the brown and beige tudor on the west side. Them Dad and Erick came onto the driveway and the attention came from Paul to Erick. Mr. Costello has a son that plays football. He hopped into his Jeep to go get him. Mr. Costello talked about the football program at Lake Windsor High and the great deals. -
Muck Fire
Paul is now living in his new home but suddenly he smells something strange. His mom calls the fire department but they take a while to get there. But while his mom is freaked out and is not sure where all that smoke is coming from. -
High School Football Team
Paul thinks that Erick arrival is going to change things at the football season . He thinks that his family is going to make a difference but he is not sure if he is going to changes he going to make for the middle school soccer team . They are expecting to go great things there and then move up to the big leagues. The next day they took a tour of Paul school. -
Tryouts
They had heard that the couch was doing a three day tryout. And that Antonie was the whole show last year and tried to come to every game. -
First Day of School
It was the first day of school. Paul had left at 7:30 and walk to the front of the development to catch the bus. And there was smoke that was thick and a strong smell. Then he had a thought that had distracted him. He had remember another bus and kids standing back of the line waiting for the bus to take him to go to kindergarten. . -
Erik's Friends
Author has a sister named Paige. She is a sophomore and is on the cheerleading team. She is clearly going to be Erick's girlfriend . Author has a girlfriend named Tina Turreton . Erick's mom has already done research on Erick's friends. Erick does not know how to drive and he really has never been interested in driving. -
Moms New Position
Soccer tryouts are tomorrow . Pauls mom has a new position. She is the Architectural Committee. It a powerful position and if you have any plans you have to have it approved by the Architectural Committee . -
Sixth Period
Paul last period is language arts with Mr. Bridges . Most kids fall asleep by sixth period and they do't think it there fault. But then the bell sounded and Paul had new energy. He went to soccer tryouts and they told him that he was a good goalie. He looked over there and saw kids from his homeroom class. -
Mike's Death
When Mom and Paul got back from the supermarket Erick and Author pulled up in the land Cruiser. They had said that Mike was dead . Mike had gotten killed at practice. Pauls mom did not understand and looked like she was about to faint. Erick said that they had tried everything but nothing worked he was dead. Erick's dad tried to call 911 . They had all went to the hospital . -
Classes after accidents
Mom thought that they would cancel classes because of Mike death but they didn't . They didn't even cancel football practice . Paul watched from a distance. the saw many different pockets of players were doing different drills. Many people in tryouts were talking about the accident. -
The Principle
The principle of Lake Windsor High is Bud Bridges . He has been the principle of Lake Windsor High since it opened. MIke Costello was a fine man and he could say he is proud to say he met him.His loss is like a loss to him. -
Soccer Tryouts Final Decision
Paul was excited because he thought that he had made the soccer team. Then coach Walski had told him that he had not made the team . The coach had told him it was because he was not eligible for the program. Her mom had no idea that the IEL had to do with playing soccer. -
Private Burial Ceremony
After the accidents that had happened with Mike they were having a private ceremony. Many people had came and many people from school. Joey parents had Talked to every one and they had talked about many things. When it was Paul parents turn they said sorry for what had happened with Mike. -
At the Carnival
Paul and Joey were going to the Carnival. Paul mom was going to take them. On the way he saw many things and has smelled something that he thought was amazing. Then they got to the carnival and his mom was going to pick them up at 7:00. -
The Carnival Mystery
Paul and his friend were sent to the office. He had saw Mr. Gates and Couch Walski were standing. They had told them if they were in the carnival . The couch had said yes because he had gave them tickets. They had said that they vandalize a exhibit and that it was some soccer players. Then they said that it was not them. But Paul new who it was but did not want to be a tater tail and rat them out. So then he had said that he saw some soccer players and so did his friends say that. -
On CNN
Pauls grandparents had called to tell Paul mom that they were on CNN. Mom then right away turned on the television . There were many helicopter and it showed the whole campus. Then Paul dad was mad. News reporters had asked his about what had happened. He said he didn't know and then they asked him a question which made him so made . -
A New School ?
After the accident with the sinkholes many places were damaged. Now they are having a meeting on Friday at 7:30 to see where they are going to be. There are many kids and each kid at least has seven classes. -
Old Charley
Paul dad is on the news Director of Civil Engineering for Tangerine Country. There was a special report about Old Charley. Burned last night at 6:00.Old Charley has never denied a permit. They have never even sent a inspector. They let the developers do there own geological surveys. -
Catholic School
Pauls mom wanted to send him to a local catholic school. They had said that you did not have to be catholic to go to that school. Ten percent of the students are not catholic. -
Take Two
Pauls was starting the first day of school again. His mom was worried because of all she had seen at the front of the school. She was worried because she saw people fighting and large groups o9f people. She thought what kind of first impression is that. Then he met Dino and Tino. -
Making fun Of
they had told Joey that there were making fun of Mike when his hair got burn of by lighting . They also made fun of him for trying to protect him shoe on the field. -
First Soccer Game
Paul had his first soccer game away. They played Palmetto Middle School. They had drove past small farms and had saw dead citrus groves and past pine trees and a sign that said The Turpentine Capital Of The World. When they got there they saw middle school kids and many grown up people lined up. They could still hear them say nasty things at them. There Game was more like a war. -
First Day of Football Season
It was the first day day of football season for Lake Windsor High. Paul dad was hyper like it was the most important day of his life. They had gotten up at one o'clock for the game which was at two o'clock. Paul was glad because the bleacher where really crowded.Mike was number one and Arthur was nuber 4. -
Second Soccer Game
Paul was at his second soccer game. They were playing KInnow Middle School. Henry D. had told him that they beat them last time. He had seen many fans for a kids soccer game. He also wonder if this had been a football game this parents were be here . Victor had hand his hand in his forehead so that the would not bleed and the blood would not run down his forehead. But Victor keep telling them that he did not have to go to the emergency room . He wanted to keep playing in the game. -
The Nickname
Victor had said to Tino that his dad had an old magazine ad on the wall making fun of Tio Carlos.Then Tion yelled sorry Charlie and other things. Paul had new that he would stop teasing him but the nickname would not go away. -
Tangerines Times
Joey had not showed up for practice yesterday but someone else did.Paul had saw a white bus pulling in . They wanted to get the last names of the girls in the team. Re-enrolled
That day joey did not come to school . Paul had knew where he was. Joey was re- enrolling into Lake Windsor Middle School. Paul had thought it was his fault and he didn't fit in that school. His never should made him change. -
Busy Family
Paul always aware ever hour and day.But now he does not because he has soccer games and football game.His parents also are busy with there jobs and they don’t ever have diner together. -
A worried mom
Luis had invited Paul somewhere. Paul mom had been so worried and asked him if he was ok or if it was safe and many more things. Aun had been liked Doing the Quonset hut. Then he called his mom again and she said if he was ok and was worried if someth had happened to him. -

Mr. Donnelly would never return mom phone calls . But one night e had called to invite them over that same night. They were suprised to know that they were invited to there house. Tomorrow Big Game
Tomorrow was the big game and everyone will know who wins. Wars Eagles where playing vs Seagulls . Tangerine is 9-0-0 and Lake Windsor is 9-0-1. Then after reading the essay Paul began to worry. -

A frozen place
Where Paul is living he it is freezing . Then his grandma had called to tell them that they were on the CNN news. It was Thanksgiving day but they had called it Thanksgiving Freeze. -
Too much sleep

Luis Death
