    Prologue
    A year after the 28 year old towers of the World Trade Center were destroyed. A Harlem resident named Robin Perry had a desire need to serve his country. A Week after, Robin enlisted in the U.S Army though his father was aggravated at Robin for not going collage instead.
  • Welcome To Iraq

    Welcome To Iraq
    Upon arriving in Iraq, Perry and the others in his station are assembled inside Kuwait at Camp Doha. They are listening to Major Spring Sessions (the main commander in his station) as she addresses the Civil Affairs (CA) unit in which perry has been placed. The unit is composed of a medical team, an intelligence team, and security personnel.
  • The Anarchy Begins

    The Anarchy Begins
    As Perry and his group travel on with the U.S Marines, stopping periodically, and then bed down for the night. A sandstorm hits the next morning. Major Sessions orders everyone to get down. The sandstorm lasts two days. Watching CNN, the soldiers are able to see how some Iraqis are cheering for the Americans. They are also cheering because they are now free.
  • Ambushed!

    Ambushed!
    Perry receives a letter from his mother, along with her prayers and well-wishes. She asks him if he needs anything. She tells him he is the hero type, but Perry disagrees. Weeks later the official war has ended, there is still combat going on. When Perry goes out on patrol, he sees many Civilans were killed by the enemy. Soon after Perry's group starts getting overrunned by the enemy,
  • Rescued

    Rescued
    During the nightime, Perry's team was still ambushed in the city. Perry continued to fire at the enemy until dawn came by. By then a Regiment from the Army came to rescue what's left of Perry's team. Perry started dragging a fallen soldier into the helicopter to evacuate the area.
  • Surviving Another Day

    Surviving Another Day
    After returning to the barracks in Camp Doha, He Realized that him and 7 other soldiers in his Battalion survived the attack when there was originaly 15. He started to regret joining army when he knew this was just the beginning. Perry starts to write to his uncle who is a vietnam veteran in the marines, and tells him he now understands how bad a situation can get in a war.
  • Reassigned

    Few months later Perry gets reassigned, as he is no longer in Infantry anymore. After he said his goodbyes to his group and ready to be shipped off to another base, he has a final letter to his uncle which he never intends to send. He knows he will never be the same.
