Sukarno was born in Surabaya, Java, Dutch East Indies (Now Indonesia). But later on he is sick, then he survived it and parents renamed him Sukarno (his old name was Kusna Sosro) -

Death of Sukarno and the Third Arrested Time
He was in prison for a wrong blame at the Indonesian Communitis. He died in his house because he was to old, he died in Jakarta, Indonesia in the age of 69 years old.
