PI's first day of a new school
It was PI's first day of school but he was nervous because he did not want the kids or the teachers making fun of his name Pissing Patel. The kids and the teachers would make up nicknames for him.

Religion
PI and Mr. Kumar was talking about religion and Mr. Kumar tries to persuade PI to choose the religion he is in. He told Pi that he was a athiest.
"Religion" "I dont believe in religion. Religion is darkness" pg. 27
Nobody should make you choose your eligion, you should choose it. -
Finding a survival kit
When Pi knew that noone was coming to save him he started scrambling around the boat looking for stuff. He came across a survival kit.
"I pulled out the survival manuel. Its pages was still wet." pg.166 -
Off to sea
PI was aboard the cargo ship Tsimtsum. He was loaded up with all the animals and the people on their way to Canada. His father sold the zoo so they could have a fresh start there.
"We sold the zoo, lock, stock and barrel. To a new country, a new life." pg.88 -
Ship Sinks
The ship sinks. Everyone is scrambling to get on a lifeboat. PI and Richar Parker(tiger) are trying to swim to a lifeboat. This part is when Pi was thinking hat he and the tiger is going to die. " Jesus, Mary, Muhammad and Vinshu, how good to see you, Richard Parker! Dont give up, please. Come to the lifeboat. Do you hear the whistle? TREEEEEE! TREEEEEE! TREEEEEE! You hear right.Swim, swim!" pg.97 -
Stuck on a boat
After the ship sank, Pi was stuck on a boat with Richard Parker, a hyena, a zebra and orange juce. They was stuck in the middle of the ocean.
" The elements allowed me to go on living. The lifeboat did not sick. Richard Parker kept out of sight." pg.107 -
PI and Richard Parker
PI was getting scared that Richard would attack him. Pi went fishing and cought a turtle and killed in. He used the shell as a shield from Richard. H e tested it out by making him charge at him. He finally got it and kept the turtle shell. -
Almost Got Saved
Pi and Richard was floating about the sea when all of a sudden he sees a huge oil tanker coming their way. Pi was jumping and yelling but he calmed down in case he didnt get saved. The oil tanker was not slowing down and Pi and Richard was about to get hit. The ships waves pushed them out of the way and they missed the boat by two feet. Within twenty minutes the ship was gone.
"Richard Parker, a ship!"
"Weve made it! Were saved! Do you understand, Richard Parker? WERE SAVED! HA, ha, ha, ha!"234 -
Death Note
PI is starting to doubt that he is going to make it out alive and starts writting a note. He thought he would run out of paper but he ran out of ink.
"Its no use. Today I die.
I will die today.
I die." pg240
