Coronado herd about the myth of the seven cities made of gold which triggered him to start exploring. He explored five states just trying to find the seven cities of gold. He discovered Texas, Palo duro, Arizona and Grand canyon. Coronado also reported "Do not go to Texas. The land offeres nothing for the spanish no gold but a harsh land. Remember Coronado is a conquistador. oronado was searching the city of Cibola. Coronado had a guid which was Estevan.
