New Student
Scott realizes that he has a new girl in his class. Scott judges the girl, Lee, based on her appearance and her outfit. Although Scott is confused by the appearance, he is also kind of intrigued. -
Student Council
Even though it wasn't Scott's choice to run, Patrick nominated Scott for student council. Scott was extremely nervous about this because he had never stood up in front of people and gave a speech before, so he was mad at Patrick for making that statement. -
School Dance
Patrick convinced Scott to go out and go to the school dance. Although Scott wasn't really thrilled at the idea, he still went with Patrick to get out and try to take his mind off of the other million things he had. -
School Newspaper
Scott was given the roll on the paper to write about the school football team. He wasn't very thrilled at this idea because he knew nothing about football. So, Scott tried to write the articles in a way he would enjoy it, so it wasn't so boring to him. -
Conversation with the New Girl
Scott had a conversation with the new girl. He was trying to avoid looking at her clothes and her rings and he just focused on the book that was in her hands. Which was surprising to him, it was a book that he really enjoyed. -
Remembering Tobie
Scott was reading the book Ender's Game, and he thought it was so good. Then Scott started to remember how he wasn't all into books back in middle school, and that is what brought him to Tobie. In the fifth grade, Scott banged up his arm pretty bad and he was in the hospital. In his room was a boy named Tobie. Tobie was a big reader and all he talked about was books. At the time though, Scott wasn't very interested. Until one sudden day, Tobie passed and left all of his books for Scott to read. -
Student Council Speech
Scott gave his speech for the student council. Scott honestly though the speech wasn't very good at all, but the audience disagreed with that. They found it rather funny than bad which made it, in Scott's case, not the best thing. -
Julia Student Council
The former student council president quit and now Julia got the role. This was good for Scott because now he had time to see and be with Julia throughout the day. Now Scott didn't have to try and do the same things as Julia because he will now see her at student council. -
School Play
Scott tries out for the school play because he heard Julia was trying out. Assuming she would get the part, he tried out. He found out sooner that Julia didn't get the part and he was stuck doing something he didn't want to do. -
Wesley Cobble
Scott had to go pick up a file for his teacher, so he went to the main office. The secretary told Scott that they would be with him in a couple minutes. Wesley Cobble walked in and he assumed Scott was in there for something he did.Wesley immediately started to like Scott because he thought he was now like him.
