Saul is Anointed King
Saul was anointed king by the prophet Samuel. God did not want the people to have a king but the people did. God gave the people what they wanted by he said by the end they wished they never had a king. -

Saul's disobedience
Saul made a sacrifice to God that only the priests were supposed to. When they destroyed the Amalekites, he was supposed to destroy everything but the army brought back the king and also sheep and cattle. The spirit of the lord was no longer with him and from this point on he kept disobeying God. -

Ben-hadad takes his silver and gold and children and wives. Ben-hadad wants to take everything from the kingdom from Ahab. God tells Ahab that he will win because Ben-hadad was mocking God. The Israelites with the battle. Ben-hadad wants to fight again. So God tells Elijah that he will win again. The Syrians fill up the whole plain. The Israelites strike down 100,000 Syrians in one day with their small army. Ahab makes a peace treaty with Ben-hadad. Gods going to strike down Ahab as Ben-hadad. -

Ahab wants Naboth's vineyard. Naboth does not want to sell it. Ahab's servants get criminals to make lie's about Naboth. They stone Naboth. He gets a vineyard. God says because he did this his family will suffer and his wives will get eaten by dogs and another family will be eaten by birds. -
