Samuel de Champlain said he had an interest in the high seas and of navigation at a young age. He also made his first visits to Spain. From there he went to the West Indies and to South America. -
Samuel's wife's thinking of a departure
Helene no longer wanted to be married to Samuel. So while he was gone she stayed in New france and was thinking about signing a covent. After four years she left him and he named the ‘Montreal Expo 67’ after her. paper package

Message from Captian Kirke
Samuel recieved a letter from Captian Kirke that the King of England gave permission to take over New France. Later Captian Kirke captured the French supply ships and left Quebec to starve. paper package -
Samuel surrenders
Samuel surrenders to the English. They give him a safe passage back to France. They then had possesion over Quebec. paper package -
capture illegal
Four days after the English captured Quebec Samuel found out that the king of France and the king of England signed a peace treaty. The capture was illegal. Samuel regained possession. paper package -

The natives didn't want to tell Samuel when he came back to Quebec for the last time. They didn't know how to tell him that Brule was captured by the Hurons, tortured and then eaten. paper package
