They encounter the Montagues. Sampson bites his thumb to provoke a fight. -
The Fight
They begin to sword fight. Both heads of the Households show up and fight. The prince of Verona shows up. He says whoever keeps fighting he will kill. -
After the fight
Montague and Lady Montague talk to Benvolio about Romeo. -
Romeo's appearance
He explains to Benvolio how Rosaline does not like him. Benvolio suggests to him to go to the Capulet's party to look at other girls, he agrees but only because he wants to look at Rosaline.
